Brilliant!!! Absolutely brilliant!!! S+B is hands down the best boot fitting shop in this country (in my opinion). The knowledge, experience and products the techs bring to the game are unparalleled!! I just had a pair of Head race boots fitted with foam injected liners, and there is no place in America I would allow anyone but Harry Martin (proprietor) to perform such a complex and "one shot" procedure!!!! Combine that with the other boot fitters at S+B, and you just can't beat their service anywhere!!! I'm talking about real, good old fashioned customer service. The folks at S+B actually KNOW what they're doing. They take their time with each individual, never rushing the customer or the process, resulting in what I believe to be the best customer experience in the business!!!! S+B has a core group of boot fitters that have been at the store for years, resulting is a consistent and measurable set of results, all of which have been beyond outstanding!!! S+B has been my "go to" store for over a decade, in which time I have purchased everything from race boots and skis to shoe laces, and I have always been delighted with their products and services!!! Note: I coached ski racing at a regional level for decades, so finding a shop that can meet the highest standards of excellence and precision for the sport is liken to discovering a mountain of gold in my back yard. I rented skis there on February 9, 2024. Marcus was extremely helpful and gave the military discount as well. Overall, their normal prices for ski rentals were $15.00 cheaper than the competitors in the area. I would highly recommend and would use them again.
I always get great service and attention at Steamboat Ski and Bike Kare. They have a good inventory of bike and ski gear, and their bike shop is excellent. Also, Harry is the best bootfitter I have ever used.

Most accommodating and service oriented ski shop… Steamboat Ski and Bike Kare is THE BEST. I needed new ski boots after a bad fall rendered my ankle a mess (reconstruction consisted of one gasket and 11 screws around my calcaneus). My right ankle now had what looked like two ankle bones. Boot fitting was a necessity although I was skeptical it’d work and my skiing career was over.
My fitting started with MJ in a late Sunday afternoon and continued Monday morning downtown with Harry (shop owner). After assessing my ankle, arch, instep etc. Harry found the shell that would work. After custom boot beds were made, punching out where the bone protruded, and heat fitting my liners I headed to the slopes. After a couple runs I decided to stop by the ‘on mountain’ shop and had Brendon punch out the shell a bit more. The next day these boots fit perfectly, no pressure points and a fit that made my carving effortless and enjoyable. I can’t say enough about the entire staff at Steamboat Ski and Bike Kate. 10 ⭐️
