Great customer service! I recently bought a pair of ski boots downtown and the boot fitter was super helpful. I had no idea what I wanted when I walked in but he took the time to ask questions and offer suggestions on what I should be paying attention to in terms of fit. I’ve been skiing my Lange’s for a couple of weeks now and so far they’ve been awesome. He suggested custom foot beds but at that point I wasn’t ready to drop any extra cash. I appreciated that there wasn’t a ton of pressure to upsell me, and I also appreciated the local’s discount. I anticipate I’ll be back for the custom footbeds...

Ski gear- Lots of places have great gear at reasonable prices. Fitting ski boots properly is an art. Steamboat Ski and Bike has truly expert boot fitters, whose focus is getting you into the right pair of boots that work for you and how you ski. Or, making your current boots work their very best for you. Very kind people who are really good at what they do.

Products and services are the best in Steamboat. Based on good friends recommendation I rented ski gear from SSBK seven years ago. Since that time I’ve bought all of my ski gear (skis, boots, clothing, helmet, etc.) from SSBK. I can always get a knowledgeable service person to help me with advice on everything needed for skiing - and those same service people are still working there today. I’ve recommended them to friends and never been disappointed.

MJ was outstanding. He is a multi tasker that is extremely knowledgable. My boots fit amazingly and have had an issue with an extra bone in my foot causing pain - this was eliminated with a punch out of the boot - never knew feet could feel so good after skiing. Should have had new boots 10 yrs ago. Thank You MJ!!!!!
