I like the atmosphere inside the facility with your friendly and professional staff. The facility is very clean and well kept up.
I am impressed by the range of activities available as well as the variety of exercise machines. The facility is well laid out, clean and welcoming. The staff greet you warmly upon arrival and are helpful when needed during your workout. Having chargers for EV’s is also a huge bonus.
I really enjoyed my 3 day pass and think I will join in September when the kids go back to school. I was told that the family pool, which I love, has a lot of children when school is not in session. I also love the fire pit area, so comfy and inviting.
I was also told that you waive the joining fee twice a year, once in September, if so, is it a certain date or the whole month?

The open air space with wonderful variety of equipment , group classes especially Pilates with Barb, and lots of Pickleball Sunday through Friday !
Can take grandkids. I like the indoor pool best at the Ward Y in Abingdon -Bel Air South. Kids pool much better set esp. the slide into it, the way it was set-up. Also like the big outdoor pool in Pasadena that gets covered for winter use.
I do not like changing area for kids at Towson Y - area cold too.
We like the Parkville Y close to us esp. the kids climbing area.

Great all around place for family activities.
Orakawa is beautiful. The members and staff are friendly. The Parkville Y is also wonderful, but the ladies room near the pool really needs revamping. Shout out to my fave instructors: Jenna, Gigi, and Erin Subamian!
