It’s Great different option for physical fitness
The facility is great and more importantly the people are very friendly and always helpful. I do wish there was opportunity for Zumba, Cardio Dance, and/or Cardio Dance Gold classes in the mid morning like Everfit has.
The receptionist at the desk was super helpful and pleasant to speak with about the different options.
Our grandson was visiting for the week and was upset that it was so cold. So we took him to the Orokawa Y pool and he had a blast, especially on the waterslide!
Harry Seideman went over and beyond. He was extremely courteous, allowed me to express my feelings regarding canceling the membership before and was very informational and respectful even though he's older than me. He didn't stand from a position of him being more knowledgeable. He allowed me to express my thoughts then addressed each of them with understanding. I appreciated that. His follow up was also well done regarding my children and what we can do with them regarding swimming and even childcare for the younger ones. Mr. Harry is certainly a gem to your organization. Don't let him go anywhere unless he chooses to retire. He stood out and has been the best interaction I've ever had with a Y member/employee. Thank you
I love that the Y is a place where my whole family feels included and supported. My daughter, my two sons, and even my elderly mother can all enjoy something there. It gives us a safe, welcoming environment to stay active, spend quality time together, and be part of a positive community.

The pool area and locker room/restroom for women are well kept. The water exercise instructors are enthusiastic and fun.

Yesterday, I finally made it in—honestly, I had to drag myself—to the Orokawa Y after two months of paying for my new membership without going. I was feeling very low on energy when I arrived.
At the front desk, I was greeted by Crystal. I told her it was my first visit and that I wasn’t feeling my best. From that moment on, she took care of everything. Crystal was warm, upbeat, and incredibly helpful—she guided me where I needed to go, set me up with a new fob, and even helped me get digitally connected for check-in.
I spent about 30 minutes focusing on myself, and the difference was amazing. It felt like a complete 180—my energy and mood completely turned around. I left feeling refreshed, energized, and like a different person.
It’s because of caring individuals like Crystal that I not only plan to keep my membership at the Y, but also to attend more regularly.
