only been to one session—tai chi, which was good. ask me later
We love the Y and especially like taking our three kids to the family pool. The new 15 minute safety break is quite disruptive to a session with 2 kids who aren't old enough to use the slide. After thoughtful consideration and speaking with other parent members, we do not understand why the entire family pool must be cleared during this time. Why can't the roped off deep end just be cleared or why can't the splash pad part of the pool be kept open for the kids that can't use the slide? Cutting the use time down by 25% for everyone except those using the slide is not a fair trade off. We obviously want kids to be able to use the slide safely, but this new rule seems way too drastic and significantly impedes on the experience of all members, to facilitate slide usage for a small group. If the pool must be closed to open the slide, I have two recommendations: 1) shorten the time to just 5-7. We were there last night and every kid got to do the slide about 3 times in the first 5 minutes. 2) Only operate the safety break rule during a few specific hours during the day and not during the really busy weeknight hours. It is really inconvenient to break up the swim session for a quarter of every hour.
I love Stay & play. I was a totally exhausted and overwhelmed single mother and the care child feature saved my life
It was my first time at the Y and doing gentle yoga, which was fantastic!

I love the Y. the vibe, the community, the offerings.. its great
While sometimes it takes days for exercise equipment to be repaired the good side

My flex class with Kelly
The Y is a fun place to go for exercises and
a great social gathering !!!
The only negative is the pool is still too cold which discourages some senior citizens from taking classes in the main pool and are forced to go to children’s pool
We have been told the pool is kept cool for the people swimming laps however there’s a larger number doing pool exercises
Thank you
I brought my son, newly a member, to the gym with me. Leanna, the person on shift, set up his egym account with him. She was patient, knowledgeable and kind. He said he enjoyed the experience and is ready to start training. Good experience all around!
friendly staff, welcoming and low pressure atmosphere.
Convenience, hours, staff - all good
Excellence
Clean and friendly environment and great programs and staff
The staff always seems willing to meet my needs and help with special requests.
I like that people most people are friendly (and the ones who aren't are simply absorbed in their own busy day).
I like that it has experts who are focused on keeping me strong and feeling well.
I do not like some recent changes to the personal training program which seem to reduce or demean the professional way trainers had been treated in the past, in order to focus on bringing in more money. All for a nonprofit, community based organization.
Swim coach Owen is the best. Employees are great. Hours and amenities are positive. The only downside is the power outlets at the Towson Y barely work.

Very clean and they treat you a lot of respect
