The facility is well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the range of programs is impressive. The monthly membership fee is starting to get a bit steep, but it remains reasonable, given all of the services. My only complaints would be:
You could use another one or two of the most popular weight machines, which tend to be backed up.
Perhaps this is just a feature of modern life, but it's frustrating to watch people get on a machine and then take a break to read their text message or check their social media feeds on their smartphone, sometimes for 5-10 minutes, while others wait to work in on those machines. I sometimes say something to someone -- and they generally are polite -- but it seems like it shouldn't be necessary.
The pool sometimes is closed when there is an electrical storm reported anywhere east of Ohio. I understand the need to be prudent, but really.
So far the programs for kids and especially gym is good.

I would LOVE to see investment and improvement in the sauna. It would be great to make the sauna larger, nicer and hotter.
It would be nice for a more space to use the free weights.

It's convenient and clean, well-equipped with good hours.
I’m a new member so I haven’t started using all of the amenities yet. But so far I’ve been very impressed with the facility itself, the variety of offerings, and the staff. I’m really looking forward to my experience at the Orokawa Y!

The staff are very well informed and ready to help. There are many classes at various skill levels.
So many amenities, family friendly, outdoor space, always improving, inviting classes, friendly staff, community building space, inspiring others, clean and safe spaces, inclusion.
The Y is very friendly and the facility clean!
There is really a sense of community, which is good and bad! It is great to see people and catch up, but there are times I just want to get through my workout and either get back to work or get home.
I like all the options the Y has to offer. It would’ve great if the egym machines could be connected to our phones - so we would not need the wrist band.
Crystal was a great helping in obtaining the membership and gave us the full tour of the facilities. She's a gem (pun intended)!
