My swim instructor Lee is outstanding, patient and supportive. She is young and able to walk comfortably with us .
Friendly, professional staff.
Welcoming atmosphere no matter what your fitness level is
The customer service rep was amazing. She answered all our questions and was very helpful.
Pleasant and clean, equipment is functional.
The best thing I experienced with my recent visit to the Y was the wonderful customer service given by both Harry and Fred.
Harry was welcoming and provided all the information we were looking for for membership. I look forward to interacting with Harry on our future visits to the Y.
And Fred took time out of his scheduled appointments to give my 13-year-old daughter an orientation to the cardio room. He was funny and informative.
Well run organization with helpful staff. Excellent job Towson YMCA!!
Friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities and great equipment.
Staff is friendly. Facility is clean. Equipment is state of the art
great facility, lots of options and classes
Clean, nice facilities, friendly staff, there's always a lap lane open in the pool, my teenage kids run into and then play with their friends, very community oriented. Super grateful.
The Y has something for everyone just take the tour. Any one will find find something to love.
The Y in Towson is the best! The facility is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The weightlifting area has clear windows that not only allow a lot of natural light inside the gym but also let you see the trees and nature around you. It's a lot better than staring at walls.
Always treated with respect.
I love the pool. It's the perfect temperature for both water walking and swimming ( in my opinion).
I love that if you have the flexibility, you can find times for lap swimming where the pool is spacious and calming.
Pool exercise classes.
Variety of exercises options
The folks were all welcoming and informative. They also left me enough space to look around and explore when I didn't have a specific question or need.
The staff is amazing. The equipment and facilities are kept clean. It’s family oriented. The Y has everything any person needs.
Love the classes and the gym. However, It is a little pricey so not sure how long staying with the Y.
We love the Y because is not only a place to work out but also to connect with people that share similar goals about the key role that exercise plays in our health.
I like the cleanliness of the facility. Also I find that there is a good range of different people.
well maintained, fiemdly, well equipped, easy access, parking.
The people and the instructors are great
Great classes ( esp Kelly’s) great equipment…..I’ve been a member for years!
The Towson Y offers the opportunity to exercise in a variety of ways in a friendly, organized and comfortable environment. It is well worth the reasonable monthly cost.
excellent
Very clean changing room
The instructors, the classes, and the facility.

The Y for me is habit - more - a life style decision where I can walk up to old age and say "Get out of my face!" I go nearly every other day since I get an email every month commending my steadiness. Before hiring staff, I think that they must obtain some sort of friendliness quotient. I go regularly to Parkville, Towson and 33rd. My grandson works at Catonsville and I find the same thing: a pleasant greeting, paying attention to questions, desire to assist.
I'm a lap swimmer. I go into the changing rooms and they are always clean. The cleaning staff behave like they are honored to get a prim and proper place.
I spend about an hour and a half in the pool each visit. Minutes churn. If someone want to join me in my lane or vice versa, there is always cordial welcome and we keep going.
Hard to recognize that exercise ain't fun.
