Clean, updated building and equipment, great instructors, friendly and helpful staff! Plenty of parking....and great value! It's awesome!
I have referred several people to join and to do personal training with me. I like that everyone there is doing their own thing. It is not a meat market like some other gyms. There are usually enough machines so I don't need to wait around.
I love the Y but am disappointed that the Arnold Y machines won't have TV connection till Sept. That really discourages many of us old timers from getting in our steps this summer. Plus I can't get YFi connection to use my phone as radio.
I love the polates and yoga classes and my grandson loves the swim program.
Love the convenience but sometimes frustrated by malfunctioning exercise equipment
I, and my wife, always recommend to our friends that they join, and many have. You have great amenities and classes!
It lets me get the strength training and treadmill exercise consistently in any kind of weather at a good price in a fun environment.
Everyone is welcome. It’s properly staffed. Responsive to cultural changes. ❤️
Great gym, lots of amenities, awesome classes so far
Its a great facility with great offerings
Good trainer. Updated facility.
We absolutely love the Y ;-)
I found a gem to be clean and the location is convenient. Also lots of equipment and I love the pools for water aerobics or the pool just for swimming.
There are plenty of classes and machines offered.
Friendliness, the machines are always in working order and there are enough of them, the variety of activities, the classes that are FREE with membership, the opportunity to play any type of sport, the pool, everything!
It's great
There are many good things about the Y. But I was so disappointed that the painting experience was cancelled. I hope you try again.
I enjoy the classes, the instructors, the location of the facility and the ongoing improvements that are taking place.
The range of activities provided, the friendly and not judgmental atmosphere, the level of commitment from the instructors and the clean and state of the art facilities. I also enjoy the availability of early and late classes.
My grandkids love the swim classes. 5 yr old First name removed is turning into a brest stroking fish . Peyton who os almost 3 is overcoming his fear of blowing bibbles.
Paul is an excellent swim instructor, highly recommend!
The physical fitness classes, particularly the yoga and barre, are outstanding. The pool is also a valuable asset.
I do Crossfit in my hometown but when I visit my son, I'm at the Y. I love it here because it has so many options for me. If I don't want to come up with something on my own using weights, I can attend a class or use the pool. The rower, bikes and elliptical help me get my cardio in and there's enough variety of kettlebells, weights and other equipment that I can use to put together my own workout if I want to. The locker room is clean and that's a plus. And, finally, the staff is very friendly and cheerful, even at 5am!
This is the second time our son has had Paul as an instructor and we are all very happy with the encouragement he received as well as the stellar stroke instruction. Will be signing up for more swim clinics!

The pleasant worker's....
The availability of the pool for lap swimmers, yoga sessions and cleanliness of the facility.
Well keep and operated gym😊
Amount of equipment, accessibility, friendly staff, continuous improvements, large indoor space, cost per month for entire family
Bridgette and Jenny are amazing! I had been trying for months to get private swim lessons at The Y in Pasadena to no avail. I called Jenny on the Thursday before Memorial day and she warned me I may have to go on the waitlist but, due to me wanting later evening classes we communicated over the holiday weekend and my daughter was in classes by Tuesday! Bridgette was very patient with my newly 4 year old daughter and assured me many times that she is in a good place fundamental wise for her age. I talked to Bridgette about making her lessons a once a year thing and she agreed.
Thanks again ladies!

Friendly knowledgeable staff! You feel welcome when you walk in the door and are greeted by a "hello greeter." If you need help with...billing, schedules, locks or lockers, bolt cutters, finding personnel, or finding your workout room, the front desks people are always willing to help. I'd be lost without Janet who goes out of her way to assist Y members. I like the new Y entrance and decor. My knees thank you for the flat entrance. The accessible bathrooms and the elevator are great. The lounge area upstairs gives a nice relaxing view of the main workout floor and a semi-quiet spot to meet friends. Thanks Y.
