Easy atmosphere. No stress.
I love the water aerobics classes. I recommend these classes for a wonderful workout that works all areas of your body.I am a senior citizen and can follow majority of the routines. Come on out it is great for getting your exercise in and having a fun doing it.

Just came back to the Y recently and so far we are glad we did.
I go to Ashley's Tuesday and Thursday body pump classes. They are so GOOD! I recommend all of my friends to the Y. It's a super value and I have really changed my body by lifting weights twice a week with Ashley. Also, it's really fun!
I am very grateful I decided to join. This is a great place if you have children that are spread out in age. Its nice being able to go swimming as a family and then be able to drop my little one off at the stay and play so I can have one on one time with my pre teens. I love all the events they have for little kids and teens like dungeons and dragons. They also have waffle Wednesday. I also love the sauna, its nice sitting in there listening to spa music after a workout just to relax. I also love that yall have an open door membership that is more affordable for lower income guests. Everyone has been super nice and welcoming, its a great experience.

I especially like the variety of exercise programs, especially the swimming in the outdoor pool. As soon as the weather is warm again, I hope to resume water aerobics.
For medical tax deductions and other purposes, would it be possible for you to refer to Y programs as "Physical Fitness" as well as "Education"? That would be of great benefit to me and most likely many other members.
I also hope to resume yoga classes soon; I know of one that starts a 8:30 a.m. and one at 4:30 p.m., which are good times; one that starts at 11 s.m. would also be good.
We love being able to play pickleball at our Y in addition to the workout machines and classes.
I have an excellent personal trainer, A J Garay. The equipment is kept in good shape, locker rooms clean, and the work the Y does for mothers with children, and the summer camp initiative.

The Arnold MD Y is a smaller pool … older and more crowded
Locker room showers are also hit and miss for working /cleanliness

There is a wide variety of classes to explore.
The Arnold location, near my home is very accessable by multiple routes- making it easy to reach even on heavy traffic days. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well supplied, and equipment well maintained.
They worked with me so I could join i have a membership with silver secures parameters. I could afford the other gym but it wasn't a good fit for me and didn't want to go. You are colder for me. I had a membership in PA and now I can come to the YMCA.
Friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable caring staff
How close it is to my house. The body pump classes and my biggest bonus is the sauna in women's locker room. I wish it was a tad bigger for more people and offered red light therapy feature.

Clean space and equipment. The equipment is in good working condition with a few exceptions. Each piece of equipment is well marked with the correct procedure. Friendly staff and clients. Great location. Early hours.

I dropped my membership during Covid and rejoined about a year ago to swim in the lap pool, which has been great physical therapy, exercise and good for my mental health.
Stay and play services are great, kids activities are great, parents day out and nights are awesome! Pickleball, Gym, Classes and the Swimming pool are also great. In a nutshell we love everything, services and the staff are also awesome!
