I'm coming to the Y from the Bel Air Athletic Club, so a lot of what I like at the Y contrasts with my experience at the BAAC. For example, I like it that there are no TV screens at the Y. At the BAAC there were a lot of screens (with captions) with almost all news tuned to Fox News. (Occasionally someone would change the channel to MSNBC, but then someone would quickly tune it back to Fox News.) I like to look outside at nature rather than a TV screen when I exercise -- and I can do that with the treadmills since they face the large windows. Also, I really like swimming laps in the indoor pool. This also has windows so I can see the trees, and there is low lighting and (usually) no music so that it's a very tranquil environment, ideal for resting the mind during a workout. All the employees are very friendly and helpful, but also know when to leave you alone with your routine. My wife has just retired and is very interested in your group activities.

It’s a nice atmosphere
It’s family friendly and has a welcoming atmosphere!
The facility is clean and there are many options for adults and children to be active.
I love the variety of classes that are included in my membership.
Classes offered and cleanliness.
Facilities, employees, equipment and programs available.
I love the lap pool. Unfortunately it is closed alot. Now the heaters are broke. Also, a lot of classes get cancelled at the last minute.
Also, I really, really wish they would get our American flag back up
Great people. Clean. Best equipment
Love the equipment in the gym, body combat and yoga classes!
Good classes for seniors
The multiple classes. I have already recommended the Y to several people. The instructors are all very well qualified as well.
I like the Pool and the friendly staff.
Reasonable cost, very friendly, offers some senior programs, the membership hold policy is the best. Already recommended the Harts to the Y and they both recently retired and joined.
Clean, large, state-of-the-art!
Very friendly people and staff
Everything!

Great instructors. They have a good connection with the children.
Great learning with a fun twist
Availability of treadmills when they work
I like how there is something for everyone to do at the Y
Great swim classes including water aerobics and lessons. Beautiful facility.
I like the variety of classes to choose from included in the membership. I also enjoy the wide range of hours the facility is open. My kids enjoy the fun shops and the family game room. The Y is,a great place for families.

My kids liked the March session better than the session in February, when they were made to sit and watch an animal show for an hour and a half. My kids are very active and loved the two and a half hour time in the gym and pool in March. We arranged a group of about 8 to 10 kids and they loved this session! Thanks for having it! My recommendation would be to refrain from having group activities because not all of the kids are in to the same things.
