I love the Ward Y in Abingdon. The pool temperature is perfect as well as the myriad of classes offered. We have so many to choose from - perfect to stay in shape.
Ms. Lisa was wonderful! She was so patient working with my daughter for her first swim class. As a parent, I was worried about her swimming in the pool, but Ms. Lisa lessened my daughters and my fears.
Very pleased with the wide variety of the classes offered. The pools are well kept, the facility clean and pleasant.
Always a good vibes in the entrance area with friendly and helpful staff.
So far, I and my family enjoy being members of the Y at the Ward Center in Abingdon.

Not overly crowded. Love the stay & play for the kids even though my 5 yo thinks he’s too “big” for it. All of the staff are wonderful

The staff is friendly and many classes are offered. The equipment is maintained pretty well. I would personally like bathrooms to be cleaned better/ more often, including the one outside of the play and stay. Thank you!

The Y is a place for the entire family. Young and Older.
My first visit was positive. THe people working at the desk were very pleasant and helpful. I was happy that the time I chose to use the pool was perfect as there were only a few others there using the pool. Everything seems clean and well kept.
My one complaint was the music that was playing in the pool area. First, the choice was NOT family friendly. I think the title was "Look what you made me do" and it was about someone giving a gun to a girl and she killed someone. The last line was about someone trying to call the dead girl, and the singer saying "SHE's DEAD." In addition, it was extremely loud. Something more upbeat, at a lower sound level, and for all generations would be appropriate.
