There are many things I like about the Y in Abingdon. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a wide variety of equipment. There is something for every age.
The Y is always there when I need them. When I became sick, and couldn't run, they had a pool. When I was disabled and couldn't pay, they offered financial aid. I was gone for over a year, in fear of the covid virus, and now I'm back and everything is clean, well maintained, and as friendly as ever.
Love to the y my children live to go swimming and we also love how many activities it has for the children

The Y is a great place to keep active and fit. The organization runs things with their members in mind. No matter your age or fitness level it is a great place to be. I love to swim and always have a choice of how to spend my time in the pool. Classes, lap lanes, family swim, etc...The Abingdon Y is safe, clean and comfortable to move around in. I have made friends and the staff is amazing. Management has always addressed by concerns (minor) in a quick and professional manner. I just love this place. i am there at least 3 times a week.

Always greeted with a smile and a good morning. Ladies in the locker room getting ready for water aerobics are so friendly and sociable. The instructors are really great and I love how you used to see ladies and men congregating at the table in the lobby drinking coffee provided by the Y or fresh water and just laughing and having a good time. I LOVE THE Y! They will help you out in any way they can.
I look forward to going almost everyday because I feel I am doing good things for myself and getting in shape to keep up with my teenage granddaughters!
