Family oriented and clean
My daughters are taking swim lessons again at the Y. I was unsure at what level they should be placed in. The swim instructors were able to test her and made suggestions. The main office was able to switch her to the correct level with ease.

The people that work there and the classes like cycle. The instructors for cycle are very good and caring.
The pool is great, the Covid safety protocols are terrific. What a relief to safely swim, exercise, etc even during a pandemic.
The family events, the indoor pool, the stay and play! I can only be a memeber becuase of these things.

Great Equipment in the gym, clean safe environment
Everyone is so nice & helpful. From the front desk to the people in the exercise room, to the cleaning person(s). I especially like the life guards & am really impressed with the Aqua Arthritis Instructor. She is very personable, fun & switches the music/exercises up so we don’t get bored. I enjoy that class so much that I’m often surprised when it’s over. I don’t suffer from arthritis but I do have chronic pain so I’m very thankful that this class helps relieve my pain & migraines. Thank you.

The friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of the facility. Convenience and closeness to home, availability of pool, and the variety of gym equipment plus many have a cool down fan. Made right in equipment. Something to do for everyone. Affordability. Good amount of parking, and in the vicinity of medical offices, grocery stores, and other shopping necessities, and near charging station if one has a charge vehicle.
Convieniently located. Good facilities, well laid out. Always friendly staff.

Water walking is a big part of healthy exercise for me.
Clean facility. Lots of options for cardio. Large building so it doesnt feel cramped. Locations in catonsville and abingdon are very convenient for me to get to so i go more often than planet fitness
Clean, convenient and day care is great for parents.
Water classes, chair yoga, body pump. The staff at our YMCA Abingdon could not be more helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile in helping you. Class instructors are dedicated to the members who take their classes. We have fun but at the same time we are serious about getting in shape and taking care of our bodies. Love it, Love it, Love it. My world opened up when the Y opened up. Thank you for all you do for the children at the Y in Abingdon, the programs that you have for adults and children and caring so much about helping others.
