The Y is a great place to keep active and fit. The organization runs things with their members in mind. No matter your age or fitness level it is a great place to be. I love to swim and always have a choice of how to spend my time in the pool. Classes, lap lanes, family swim, etc...The Abingdon Y is safe, clean and comfortable to move around in. I have made friends and the staff is amazing. Management has always addressed by concerns (minor) in a quick and professional manner. I just love this place. i am there at least 3 times a week.

Always greeted with a smile and a good morning. Ladies in the locker room getting ready for water aerobics are so friendly and sociable. The instructors are really great and I love how you used to see ladies and men congregating at the table in the lobby drinking coffee provided by the Y or fresh water and just laughing and having a good time. I LOVE THE Y! They will help you out in any way they can.
I look forward to going almost everyday because I feel I am doing good things for myself and getting in shape to keep up with my teenage granddaughters!

Our daughter has attended Camp Spenser for the last two summers. She loves it and request to return every year.The staff is great, activities are engaging and during this past summer when all parents were very concerned about the pandemic, the staff took incredible precautions and kept everyone safe!
