Friendly, helpful, non judgemental.
The Catonsville « Y » is magical, built in the middle of the woods inside floor to ceiling windows. You might catch a family of blue birds poking around the grounds or a couple white tails cruising the grasses thru the seasons. Once I even saw a buzzard resting right outside the window while I worked on quads. The folks are always friendly and helpful, and much respect to
the «Y » for pro-active community support and education activités!

Our Y is small, quiet and personal with friendly staff. It's also very clean.
When it became necessary to get two life guards for the growing Aqua Water class they made it happen. Our instructor, Dana, is wonderful.

The pool! The awesome consistency of the life guards presence at 5 a.m. (pool has not been delayed in opening for a long time, thanks in part to swim team schedule!)... I have just started lifting weights, and I appreciate the courtesy of everyone in the weights area at that hour of the morning, too.
Love the Y! We are thrilled with the preschool, and we have had great experiences with classes and training at every branch we've been to (and we are regulars at three different branches).

I love the Y (Catonsville). I participate in the group exercise classes. I enjoy engaging with the community. I want to acknowledge the instructors, Carrie, Tricia, Colleen and Tish. All are knowledgeable and professional in conducting their classes.
Water classes
I enjoy theYMCA because of the family atmosphere. The staff at Catonsville are friendly and welcoming.
The group class offerings have enough variation to fit the desires and levels for everyone.
