Member Testimonials
My baby like swim class and all swim instructors. They are very helpful. Thank-you for all
I absolutely love Jordan as a swim instructor. My daughter has strived under his guidance.
Everyone is super nice at the Catonsville location. Very helpful
The instructor was excellent. He adjusted to each class member's level of skill and was able to engage all of us in fine instruction.
I enjoy socializing with people who are my age.
Great coaches. Great workouts
The instructor was very upbeat, kind, and supportive of the kids!
Ella has been a great instructor. My almost 4 year old has gained so much confidence in the water being in this class. Its been a joy to watch her learn new water skills
Great atmosphere and wonderful instructors.
We enjoyed swim lessons, however it would have been nice to have the same teacher the whole way through instead of a different one every week
The teacher was very patient and kind with the kids
I enjoy how calm and patient the instructor was with all the learners.
They are very friendly
Swim Classes are good for the kids and short enough where the kids dont lose interest.
Only problem is the temperature in the Men's/Boy's restroom is freezing so changing my son after swim class is impossible without crying and shivering.
So far I love the Y
The friends I have made over 40 years atvtje Catonsville family y
Sandra Duerr’s cardio dance class
Being able to get arthritis relief with Dana’s classes as well as water walking
The friendship of Cal as one of your life guards
The employee are friendly and helpful! There is a nice atmosphere where you feel comfortable. Nice class offerings. And the pool is always a busy place but I can tell they try to manage it so that everyone, lap swimmers, families, swim lessons, water classes, get time in the pool.
I love that there is a variety of classes and so many familiar faces (members and employees) after a few years of going. I was even honored to be recognized by an employee who called me by name. I don't attend the gym as much as others, maybe? I go three times per week. I really appreciated someone noticed and called me by name- Mrs. H. -very respectful and affirming.
Overall, it is a very welcoming and diverse community and run the way I think the world should work-everyone is welcome, everyone is treated equally and kindly.
I like the community feel combined with an excellence about fitness.
Convenient, close to my house, clean, friendly staff
Everyone is so warm and welcoming
Team members that are friendly, responsive to the needs of the members, and are mature and responsible enough to show up to work for a 5 am opening.
Very good customer service. Valerie was super sweet and welcoming. I love the array of activities for me and my son. It's clean. Not too sure if it is one but would love for it to have a smoothie/juice/light snack bar. A big plus that you can go to any Y in the USA. The 360 app is very cool too. An overall great experience
beautiful facility; very helpful staff
They make my mom feel very welcome and are so approachable with questions.
I have met so many friendly people since I have been at the Y. Michele H.
