Trainers are patient, and knowledgeable
Small crowd, diverse population in race and age. Nice location. The only thing that I would change is the location of the parking. I'm pregnant and so were many of the moms at the pool. It was really hot that day and walking the long distance from the parking lot with children while pregnant was strenuous. But, we had a great time.

This facility is very professionally run and so immaculately clean, that's very important to me. It has been that way since I joined 8-10 years ago. I retired a week ago, so I look forward to enjoying my gym membership even more. You don't need to change a thing...just keep on keeping on!!

My Grandson started taking swimming lessons at east lake. One of the best experience ever we love coming here to this branch other branches are not as accommodating as this one . Bad experience at one no need to mention the branch we will just stick with this one….

The variety of options!
Love the facility. We originally used Decatur Family, but when we realized East Lake offers everything but without the crowds, it was obvious that we should switch to using it as our primary location.
Variety
I like how different programs for working out are offered. Any king of exercise is available. I especially like the fact you can make reservations for the pool.
Recently I enjoyed the indoor walking track. Prepandemic I enjoyed the group exercise classes, Zumba and Barre.
I like that there are activities that appeal to different age groups.

Nice facility, clean, spacious so i don't feel concerned about others being close while I'm still being cautious about covid, plus i like the screens between the cardio equipment.
The staff is warm, helpful, friendly, and fun! I’m grateful for the whole East Lake YMCA community! It’s like a home away from home.

Varied activities and great instructors! And more than anything, the friendly atmosphere. I’ve had many days when I came to the Y not feeling very good about myself, but by the time I left I was smiling ear to ear because people are so nice. I don’t know how you did it but you’ve created a very welcoming culture. Bravo!
