That there are aplenty of choices.
My favorite is resistance with weights.
And I reward self with sauna area use.
Excellent instructors, especially Maggie C at Body Pump and Sarah at Yogalates
My husband and I work out at the Townlake Y at least twice a week. We have a personal trainer who we have worked with for over 2 years. We wouldn't give it up for anything!
I enjoy the variety of group exercise classes, especially Zumba, the cardio dance ones, Bodybalance
Friendly and accessible to all levels.
Diversity & quality of choices of activities & instructors.
people are welcoming
I like the Chair Yoga class on Monday, and we would like more than one offering per week!
Lots of choices for most levels of activities. What is lacking is classes for the senior friendly, physically challenged, and disabled people at the Indoor Instructional Pool. My understanding is they had them previously but discontinued them. When I had a knee replacement, I underwent aquatic rehabilitation for several weeks, but insurance only covered it for those few weeks. The classes were in a warm therapeutic pool designed to ease joint stress and improve mobility. Town Lake has this type of pool, but there are no classes for this activity. If the YMCA would offer classes to the 3 groups mentioned earlier, I believe it could be a great resource for the members to continue vital lifelong therapy. Local doctors and other professionals could recommend this type of service to their patients. YMCA would be offering services to neglected classes of people who are not as active as other members. In my experience, all 3 groups are using the instructional pool. Please give further attention to this matter.
Diversity in activities and members, positive influence on citizens

Employees are awesome . Very friendly and helpful.
Deep water, Pilates, yoga, Women with Weights (this could expand, hard to connect with the class).
I use the pool. Everyone is so nice helpful and professional. Love your decoration.
Now more than ever do people need connection and love. This place exudes it!!! From all I talk to or even just a smile, it’s a place where I feel the most at home. I grew up swimming at this Y and now, I work here and it doesn’t feel like a job at all. This place is truly special and I’m proud to be apart of it.
I like the large number and variety of equipment and classes, as well as the large pool.
Love the location!
everything is really good, but the lobby and weight room smell kinda funny? Maybe an air freshener would help? I smell it every time I go it.
Clean, friendly, multitude of equipment.
I can join various groups and work out at my own pace.
