I just love the Y! It’s like home to me!
Location, and has all the equipment that is needed. Also really appreciate the staff especially Joey at front desk, and Craig that provides janitorial services plus.
Umberto “Q” is the best Water Aerobics Instructor. You can tell he puts the time in choreographing his routines and utilizes different water props to make the most out of our exercise class. He also has a wonderful attitude and personality. He is an A++++ instructor.
Convenient.
I really like the adult fitness classes, especially bodybalance, body pump, barre and yogalates. I like that they offer the classes early, before going to work during the week. The instructors are great - Renee, Betsy, Laurie, Ryan, and Elizabeth are ones I’ve regularly had and really appreciate.
Group exercises
I enjoy the outside spin class. It is not a less Mills style class and has exercises for real bikers- long climbs, good interval work, good music. I'm a member at townlake and it's nice to be connected to the trail. I also enjoy having access to a pool, steam and sauna.
Programming times. The instructors. Wish there were more swim lanes. I feel the noon weights is always packed, so much that I don't want to go. Is there a way to offset that with another class mid day?
Many classes and time choices! Great instructors, various levels of classes and times available for all.
Very welcoming and a good variety. I feel encouraged to visit and join in.
Love the yoga classes and the teachers are all so nice & encouraging. I have been coming to yoga for many years & have built a community with many of my “classmates” - we support each other as a result of the friendships created through the classes. I also like the wide variety of other classes, the fitness equipment, and location so you can access Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail. I have been able to use the treadmill & bikes to help my recovery following some surgeries over the years. I also like the diversity of the Town Lake Y - seems to be a cross section of people from across the city. It’s also fun to see the children as they participate in the various camps & the little ones in daycare as you walk into the Y. The choices at the Y are many - you can always find something to meet your needs.
Everything. You have excellent facilities for what it costs! And I like it that everyone can belong & have as good a physical activity menu to choose from as a very expensive private club! And your staff are always helpful & polite!!❤️

I like the new pickleballDen program limited the courts to 18. I also like the "advanced" play but there are problems as people are starting to sign up that are NOT advanced and taking the 6 precious spots we have. We also have one member that has been late 3 times with today being 1.5 hours late of the 2 hr window - again, wasting a spot.
It's a nice environment. A wide variety of classes and many activities for kids.
I love working with Justin for strength training. He has been an excellent thorough, positive, professional thoughtful trainer and i highly recommend him.
I appreciate the calm happy vibe all round at Town Lake.
I look forward to trying a class and the sauna soonest.
You have great exercise programs, everything yoga, kickboxing, biking, and weight lifting classes. Also great exercise equipment to get in shape with. The pool, sauna, and spa are nice . All the front desk people are really helpful and kind.
I love my personal trainer - she is really knowledgeable and fun to work with. The classes are varied, the class spaces are nice. The cardio machine area is bright and has lots of good quality machines to use.
The classes BUT, HUGE BUT my kids hate going to the kid room because they can’t bring their own coloring pads, kindle (it’s a reading device), and have their own snacks. They are ages 11, 9, 7, and 3. It’s hard to make it work with all the new restrictions. Can that be re-discussed please??
I enjoy the classes I attend at the Y. I do recommend the Y to friends and acquaintances.
Swimming lesson
I wish there was another pool. There can be long lines to get a lane. The pool was the main reason I got a membership
I like how accessible everything is and the variety of machines and groups for me to access
