I love Townlake. There are only two improvements that I think are worth contemplating. The first is navigating the building. It's really not clear where all the locker rooms, courts, saunas, and some other amenities are. I usually walk around hesitantly until I find what I'm looking for, to ensure I don't disrupt a class or accidentally walk into the women's locker room. I also don't know if I'm missing out on anything just I didn't know it existed. Perhaps a large map near the entrance (like a mall) would make things easier and pleasant. The second is the locker room situation. I think the locker rooms are small and uncomfortable. I'm not sure why the one downstairs is isolated from the one upstairs either. Anyways, not here to complain. I'll keep coming back because it has everything I need and the staff is fantastic!

Good in general! clean and really nice pool and hot tub. Gym is good and have enough machines and weights.
It would be good to have someone coordinating the pool in the busy mornings, as sometimes there are lots of people waiting.
I enjoy the early Sunday classes at Townlake YMCA. I also enjoy using the steam and dry saunas post work out. I wish the McNeil YMCA had a steam sauna.

Town Lake Y’s location is central to its attraction! No other Y really serves my area of the city! The last remodeling of the building made it a more modern, open and well lit facility and most if not all of the equipment is relatively new.
The one area I would single out for improvement is you need to increse the number of machines available for Seniors and folks who’ve never trained to use free weights.
