I love your lap pool and sauna!
Water aerobics. The pool is wonderful could use signs in the locker room directing to the pool. I kept getting lost in the maze. Also you could use a new instructor at the deep water class. If the usual instructor shows up at all, she is seemingly detached, checking her phone and gives no enthusiasm about what she’s doing. I’m used to interaction with all my instructors.
Lots of open scheduling for stuff
The Townlake pool is my favorite of all the Y pools!
Friendly environment and employees. Great instructors. easy access to my home.
Your updated equipment and facilities
I had a private swim lesson yesterday and I so appreciated the patience and support of the instructor. I'm returning to swimming after several years and the Townlake Y is a great place to start swimming in the summer when you want to avoid the harsh sun.
Comprehensive range of activity. Mtille activities for the family and long ioleating hours.. Access to personal trainers.
So many choices and times to choose from.
Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. A staple of Austin for my whole life.
Friendly staff. Lots of options
Great location and classes
Haven’t been utilizing programs and activities. Just the cardio machines
I was staying in that area, and it was my first time at this location. Everyone was super nice and helpful.
I look forward to visiting again in August.
The staff is caring and friendly. The instructors are excellent. What’s not to like?
The teachers do the heavy lifting here. Courses are great and they are very patient for our little ones!
I have not tried any, but I love the free weights. I’m a 61 year old woman so I love that you have 12.5, 17.5, 22.5 in addition to 10, 15, 20 and 25. This makes my workouts more fun. Seems like a small thing, but it’s a small detail that matters to me.
Our coach was awesome! My son really liked him and he was the perfect balance of instruction and expectation. You could tell he really really cared about the kids and their swim development. My son showed up to the City of Austin Swim Team Day 1 with great stroke development and impressed his coach and that was only after 8 weeks of swim!
I believe our coach was named Noel?
Los instructores son muy amables y enseñan con dedicación
I use the weights, machines, etc; only issue is that I have seen several not working and in need of repair; the free weights upstairs are often being used... might be nice to have a second unit similar to what you have downstairs with the "real" free weights?
Staff is great; facility is always clean
It is always so friendly and welcoming and the programs I’ve attended are excellent
Leslie's cardio dance classes are the best in all of the YMCAs. If there was a bigger space, she could fill it too.
Pleasant and relaxed environment to learn and practice swimming.
Great teachers and helpful skills
I love that the pool is open early at 5am and closes late! Clean, friendly staff. And the Masters Swim program is the BEST!
THANK YOU!
Los instructores son muy amables y enseñan con mucha paciencia a los niños
Oh my gosh they are literally so wonderful! They don't know it but they helped a good friend of mine with financial assistance that wanted to get a membership right away and they live right nearby. Their Aquatics is amazing and their leadership team and all the staff! They are so fun and kind.
I also had a big family situation happen and they were very accomodating and helpful to me and supportive where and when I needed it.
10/10 recommend!

Hello, Y. I can't say enough about the great desk employees at North/Rundberg . I visit North mainly for AquaFitness w/Jennifer Kelly. That said, recently there has been a change in that her AFIT class was moved from WEDNESDAY 445P to MONDAY 445P. This move was beyond anyone's control.
However, North Y CAN reinstate the WEDNESDAY 445P AFit class. Please, please, please reinstate that class. It's my understanding that recruiting an AFIT instructor is challenging. Nonetheless, many fellow class members also want it restored. Thank you for fulfilling this request. BTW, please exclude Tony as an AFit instructor. He is a lovely, courteous man, but not an effective AFIT instructor.
Thank you. Seaufy Peg Frey Phone number removed Email address removed or Email address removed
Great variety of high impact classes. Would like to see more low impact classes for not necessarily a senior, but recovering from an injury, like me.
A Thai Chi class that burns calories (a fad) is desired, however, participating on YouTube works for me too.

Size of facility allows for a wide variety of programs and activities that reflects the vibrancy and energy of Austin. From flow yoga to swimming to weights and plenty of treadmills, the Y has been a great decision for us.
