Mathnasium Leaside is a wonderful place! My son enjoys working with the instructors. He feels well supported and has gained a lot of confidence in his math skills. I’m impressed with how it is organized and appreciate the regular feedback regarding my son’s goals and progress.
Mathnasium Avenue Road is a lovely, nurturing place. My daughter is always excited to go and learn math. Shomes is amazing and really cares. At the end of each session they send a detailed report about what my daughter has worked on, her effort level and attitude.
We look forward to many more mathnasium classes!
My daughter is improving little by little her anxiety towards math is getting better and better.
My son was previously enrolled in Kumon which at first was good but quickly became very repetitive. He grew frustrated and no longer wanted to complete the take home assignments. This is when we switched him to Mathnasium. The class sizes are much smaller and the environment is much more conducive to learning. The in class time is longer but it gives him more time to really focus and practice new concepts. He has already tackled a number of different topics and seems to be progressing very well.
I highly recommend Mathnasium.

The one piece of feedback I do have for the company, is that your clients should get a referral bonus regardless of which Mathnasium branch their referral signs up to (I’ve now had 3 sign ups outside of just the Leaside location).
My daughter enjoys going each week and she has improved so much. It’s almost never an argument and her teacher has seen lots of improvement too!
Teachers are very supportive and friendly. My son loves to go.
Leah is amazing as the owner, sits down anytime we need her to ask questions. Fatima is brilliant in everything she does, organized, kind, great with the kids and with teaching.
My kid actually really enjoys going to Mathnasium, even twice a week! Never expected that. Love the fact that it’s 1:3 teachers to students, small classroom and that they really have fun.

My daughter doesn't like too many programs, but she actually enjoys learning at Mathnasium. And she tells us all the tricks they learn to help with math. She's only in grade 1 and I hope it her skills continue building from there.
We feel that mathnasium is a great place to work on number sense, which seems to be done very minimally in our local school. I also feel that the elementary curriculum has way too many topics at a young age. Teachers can’t spend enough time on the fundamentals (multiplication/division/fractions etc) so we are SO GRATEFUL that this can be reviewed at mathnasium.
Mathnasium has been a game changer for my kido with dyslexia and dyscalculia. Instructors really connected with my kido. Wish i started sooner. Best decision ever. Very patient. My kido is very happy and keeps asking why cant my school explain math like them.
We sent our son for math enrichment. He loved the experience as he walked in and walked out having completed the math required and didn't walk away with homework!
He sought help with text prep and worked at his own pace and on his own learning journey so he never felt dragged down by others'.
He thrived but also the experience ensures that his math base is solid.
Given his aptitude for math and the support he's been given by Mathnasium he's been advanced a full grade level in math as he is about to start at private school. An opportunity he may not have had without the support, extra math exposure and experience working with the great staff at Mathnasium!
Further the team has been flexible with scheduling sessions for our family and his sports commitments offering virtual and in person options.

We enrolled our son Alex (11 years old, Grade 6) at Mathnasium because he was struggling to keep up with math in school and needed extra support. After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to give Mathnasium Whitby a try — and I can honestly say the reviews were absolutely accurate.
From the beginning, the team was welcoming, professional, and very knowledgeable. They completed an assessment and quickly identified that Alex had missed some important math concepts during COVID that were affecting his confidence and understanding in class.
Within a short amount of time, we noticed a huge improvement. Alex is now able to follow along in class much more confidently, complete assignments within class time, and truly understand the concepts he’s learning instead of feeling overwhelmed.
We are so grateful to the entire Mathnasium team for their patience, encouragement, and hard work. Seeing our son gain confidence in math again has been incredible. I highly recommend Mathnasium Whitby to any parent looking for extra academic support for their child.

It's been very good overall and my daughter enjoys attending and we are seeing results.
One concern I have is around feedback related to her use of instructor time. If there are concerns about pace, support needs or how sessions are being used, I would strongly prefer those conversations come directly to parents rather than to the child.
Children shouldn't feel responsible for over using a tutor and these discussions can create unnecessary pressure around learning. I'd appreciate future concerns being raised with us so we can support together.

We’ve had such a positive experience with Mathnasium for our two boys who are currently in grades 6 and 9. The team is amazing; patient, encouraging, and always willing to work around our busy family schedule. We’ve seen a huge boost in both their confidence and understanding of math since starting there. The supportive learning environment makes such a difference, and our boys genuinely enjoy going. We’re so grateful for the care and dedication of the entire staff!

I would highly recommmed Mathnasium for math tutoring. Our kids have been coming here for 3 years now. Their staff are very knowledgeable and great with kids. In addition to their curriculum they are willing to help with homework where necessary. Denise and Sapir run the centre very efficiently with a smile on their face and Oliver is my kid’s favourite tutor. Thank you Mathnaisum at Dundas!
