I appreciate that progress reports are sent after each session. All the instructors are very pleasant and knowledgable. And work really well to keep my child engaged and motivated. It is conveniently located and scheduling sessions is made easy using their online sign up system. All and all we are very pleased with the services provided.
My daughter’s math grades are improving and she is becoming more confident in her ability.
We moved from PEI to Ontario this summer. We are sending our daughter to a French school (Lycee Francais de Toronto; French curriculum i.e. not Ontario curriculum). There was a significant difference in the curriculum, however we also knew that our daughter struggled in math, even at her old school. Ultimately it was recommended that our daughter (7 years old as of October 2025) repeat grade one mainly because of her math skills.
We had heard about Mathnasium through parents of one of her classmates and we decided to give it a go - not to get her ahead, but to help her catch up, build solid skills, and hopefully learn confidence.
Alice begs us to go to mathnasium now, and when we pick her up she says "please can I stay for 5 more minutes". Her curiosity around numbers and math has soared, as has her confidence. She is progressing every single week and most importantly, she LOVES going to Mathnasium!

Mathnasium has helped build back my son's confidence in Math. Moving from another country and transitioning from homeschool to asynchronous classes, he was falling behind in his Math lessons. My son doesn't feel pressured there. He always feels good after each session, though he only joined one month ago.
My kid is improving and learning new concepts. The great thing is that the material keeps him engaged throughout the session and simultaneously developing his understanding skills. Seems to be effective and days are flexible. Teachers have been friendly. Wish it was a bit cheaper as it’s pricey for a group session.
For nearly two years, Mathnasium of Southland (Elbow DR SW) has been a great experience for my son. His math skills have shown significant improvement, leading to a boost in his confidence. What we love most is that he really enjoys going to Mathnasium. We strongly suggest this program to everyone!
A good tuition center should have well-qualified teachers who have relevant experience in teaching the subject math

My 5 year old son is benefiting from the Mathnasium curriculum and learning to have fun with shapes and counting. He is inspired to learn math and often asks me questions about numbers and mathematical concepts like "infinity". He is also learning persistence and discipline as he tries to gather points for his completed work in order to win prizes
