My son experienced anxiety whenever it was time for math at school. Homework was especially difficult often resulting in angry outbursts and frustration on both his and my end.
Mathnasium made it fun for him. He realized it is just about learning different ways to take numbers apart and reassemble them. He looks forward to going to Mathnasium and has never once complained which is an incredible relief. He has told me he no longer experiences the feelings of dread at school when it is time for math, he now has the tools to help him look at the numbers and problems differently so he can stay calm and he knows he can go to Mathnasium to help him when he is struggling.
Going to Mathnasium is helping my child to have more confidence with math!

Staff is great - my daughter does not complain when I said "time to go to mathnasium"

The instructors are terrific, and the business is well organized.
The main problem Mathnasium has is a lack of communication. The post-session summaries are too generic, making it difficult to know what the children are being taught (for example, no worksheet examples are provided).
Better communication is all I can recommend.

My daughter is going to Mathnasium from lawt 6 months. I have seen her growth in maths. She has started liking maths. Alex and his team is great.
Our son absolutely loves Mathnasium Centrepointe and always leaves with a big smile. We can see he is learning a lot, and Bruce has done a fantastic job of understanding my son's unique learning style.

Appreciate the personalized learning plan, the regular updates and a system that systematically assesses the student and provides lessons to fill in the gaps in a way that doesn’t cause student frustraion.

My son did not pass 11th grade and the was in summer school, at the beginning he was still failing until I put him in mathnasium and he passed the course with 89%!! He insisted me tu put him the whole next year.

Bedford Park Mathnasium has a very welcoming friendly atmosphere. Shomes the director is kind approachable and is always working with the students helping them learn and succeed. The centre feels calm and creates an ideal atmosphere for all students to thrive and succeed in math. We are lucky to have found this centre well run and so close to home. Thank you!
My son really enjoys attending his classes here. The instructors are very helpful, patient, and supportive, and I can see that he is learning and gaining confidence. What I appreciate most is how much he genuinely enjoys going. He gets himself ready and goes to class without us having to push or remind him. It has become a positive habit for him, and as a parent, I’m very grateful to see him so happy and excited to learn. I would definitely recommend this program to other parents!

It was a great experience having classes with the North Vancouver team. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly, and we could clearly see the results.
We have been with Mathansium for the past 3+ years for our daughter.
She has learned well with a well-supported and knowledgeable team of tutors and has gained confidence in the gaps that were assessed. Three years later, her excellent grades and hard work with the tutors are bearing fruit.
Mathansium's entire team has been very supportive, corresponds efficiently with us, and is always ready to check in with us, on student progress, when we ask.
