My daughter was struggling with math in elementary school. When we brought her into Mathnasium, she was a little tentative as Math definitely wasn’t something she wanted more of. However after her initial assessment, a lesson plan was made for her that catered to her skill level while also giving her small challenges closer to her grade level. Within a year of consistant attendance, she’s now proficient in her grade at school and is much more confident and happy. I highly recommend this place, stick with it and don’t expect immediate results, it’s a process and they’ve got it down to a science.
My son now values his time at Mathnasium. He has seen positive results in school because of his hard work with Mathnasium's great tutors. Earlier this week, he asked to extend his Mathnasium experience to the rest of the school year (instead of 2-3 months).
We have been to Bayview and Sheppard Mathnasium for their Spring Break and their Math tutoring and had great experience with both programs.
They make the end to end experience: from assessment, to signing up for programs, to scheduling sessions effortless.
In addition, we are impressed by the team's ability to guide and instruct the math concepts and techniques in a smart and thought provoking way.

My son is in grade 10 and has always been very engaged in extra curricular sports, which sometimes made it hard to stay engaged in math. His instructor Bill at Mathnasium immediately recognized that and took the time to connect with him through shared experiences, even referencing other successful athletes he’s supported. He tried several teaching styles and this one has really clicked.
Since then, my son’s confidence and his math mark have improved substantially, by almost 30 percent! This is a huge change from last year, when he struggled despite getting extra help at school during lunch hours. Now, every time he comes out of a Mathnasium session, he feels confident, positive, and actually enjoys learning math. As a parent, it’s amazing to see him so motivated and happy to attend.

Very organized and very hands on help to get kids better in math and gain confidence. The staff is very patient and helpful. They show various methods of learning in a simple way. Some of their methods are fun so kids enjoy math even better. I would recommend this to everyone! 😊

I am so grateful for the dedicated crew at Mathnasium on 85th street. Kathy, Michael and Paige are amazing. My daughter was struggling at school in grade 5 and we thought we would give this a try.
