My carpets were cleaned by Zerorez about 18 months ago. This was right before I moved in. I moved out and when all the furniture had been removed, there was hardly any visible dirt and no visible stains. I have two dogs and was living on a farm. Plenty of dirt there. But a Zerorez cleaned carpet does not attract and hold dirt. Carpets cleaned by "steam" will be noticeably dirty in 6 to 8 months. Not Zerorez. It's the best ever.
