Member Testimonials
We love the diversity of activities for our daughter and exposure to new things. The counselors are fantastic and engaging for the kids and our daughter loves the weekly themes. They really went above and beyond this past summer!
Love the staff and engagement. The programs are not only top notch, but the environment is safe and conducive to a great experience for all attended
Sports and Camp
The staff members could not be any more polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their courteousness alone makes my trips to the Y to work out at the pools and the gym tremendously rewarding. As a partial result, even though I am already in my 80s, and for 55 years confined to a wheelchair, I am getting into steadily better shape.
Thank you. A grateful member.
Great swim team program and coaches
Ease of signing up, so many choices!
My 10 you loved your camp! I also appreciate the wonderful director at the upper mainline camp in PA because some issues arose and I thought she handled them in a wonderful manner! I really appreciate all that you do! Thanks for a great summer!
Summer programs that are convenient for working parents, creative, educational and fun for kids. Great value as well.
The time options are good.
They are very family oriented and it is clear a lot of thought and preparation are put into every Y program.

Various activities, great counselors, kids have a great time
Our kids loved summer camp. They did 1/2 day Woody’s Pals and were so happy to go to camp ever day.
variety of camps, great friendly counselors.
Our daughter loved it every single day.
My kids went for the week of 8/8 and they loved it.
Versatile
My daughter did the 1 week Art Discovery camp. She adored the counselors, loved the pirate theme (was unsure if that would be "cool" at first but got super into it and the skits throughout the week), loved the pool and waterslide, and thought the other kids were fun and nice. She reported that everything was very structured and well-organized and she felt safe and well taken care of.
At 10 years old, she said she was one of the few "older" kids in the group and felt the art projects were fun, but maybe not as intense as she would have liked for an art specific camp. They seemed geared towards the younger end of the age range. From the mom perspective, the camp advertised pottery (clay?) and painting, but there were no pottery projects to our knowledge, and it was all mostly coloring. My child didn't care, but I was a little surprised based on the cost of the camp (assuming art materials made up part of the tuition).
Between the several camps that we did this past summer, UMLY safety and security was the top. This made the drop-off/pick-up process longer, but for any parent who is concerned with safety - this is the camp for them!
Overall, a great camp and a great experience.
