Everything about UMLY seems great in its low-key way. The staff is cheerful. The gym is great. & the swim pools are clean and inviting.

The parents & children are without exception friendly and courteous. UMLY and the West Chester Y are a pair of the two best such workout facilities I have attended in my nearly 83 years. And I have been around quite a lot in the US and abroad.

Pickelball is why many of us joined and remain at the Y. The decision to curtail night play just as the days get hotter is beyond unfortunate and will have many folks leaving.

Here's what I don't like. The online schedules (e.g. lap swimming) are frequently inaccurate. This leads me to disappointment when a pool is not available when I arrive.

Most are included with your membership, eg yoga and soin class. There is also a wide variety of offerings throughout the day/week.

Staff are very friendly! The Wellness Center is clean. Machines have been updated.

The organization seems to promote a very positive atmosphere where everyone is friendly and helpful. This applies to the staff and the members. I enjoy coming here. I also like the wide variety of activities that are available and I enjoy trying them.

I'm a senior citizen and really enjoy all of the classes geared toward my age group, Silver sneakers cardio, lite strength, aqua fit, etc.

We love the Upper mainline YMCA! Both the gym facilities for adults and all the great activities for kids. Absolutely the best!

I love all the pools, I am a swimmer at heart. I also love the lifeguards, boys and girls are responsible, and kind.

Please: I wish we would have less waste of electricity (excessive in the hallways, lit pictures, and ads, excessive TV monitors in the gym), we have to send a message about saving energy to all generations.

I think the Y does a great job. I love their classes and the pool is great!

I only use the fitness/workout area and on occasion the men's locker room. There has been an addition of new equipment which is great for the users. (My only complaint is with the "live tv" on the equipment - way too many choices - does anybody watch Andy of Mayberry reruns while working out?? I could not find ESPN, CNN or any local station to watch.)

I like that the Y serves diverse groups in the community, instructors are great too.
