Summer camp is great
He is learning to swim
The instructor is very nice and takes time to teach. It's a small class which gives each student time to learn.
The teachers, camp counselors, and coaches at UMLY have fun with and care about each other and the children they work with. They give what they've got and do so whole heartedly.

I like the full day camp at a great price.
A wide variety of programs and activities for kids at camp are offered. The camp is well run and the counselors are very friendly.
Our kids seemed very happy attending summer camp at UMLY. The special events and the scooters were their favorite parts.
I like the positive vibe of the camp counselors, the variety of weekly camps, and the ability to swim and be with nature :)
My son is a hard critic and after his first day he had all good things to say about the counselors, the program and the campus. For me, the organization at drop off and pick up is top notch.
The summer camp program is great. Love seeing my daughter come home tired, dirty, but happy!
The choices available for camp. The camp counselors are very engaging and it’s clear that they enjoy their jobs.
My son is enjoying working with Mr. Frank. He is enthusiastic with my son's successes, and patient with his problems.
The pool set-up is fantastic. But it seems to me that the camp kids should be using another pool than the one where lessons are offered. At the West Chester Y, we always swam before and/or after lessons for extra practice. Half an hour is not that long to be in the pool, so I am really disappointed that it has not been "open pool" for my son's swim lessons. however, that there are lessons when the pool is closed, so my other kids cannot swim. I had never had this happen with my older children at the West Chester Y, so I had not even considered that it could be an issue.
I also think the Main Line should adopt West Chester's practice of posting the instructor's name, the name of the class, and the lesson time for each session. They just have a simple triangle stand displaying it, right where the teacher waits. On the first day, it is especially helpful in knowing you have found the right spot. After that, it helps you remember when the session end, and since I have 3 kids in lessons on different days, that would help me not have to keep checking.
I'm responding specifically about day camp at the Upper Main Line YMCA. Thanks for everything you guys are doing! I'm so glad my child is having a good time there, and I can count on a block of time off screens that he is actually enjoying!!
If I could make one request, it would be for swim lessons to be included, even if the child is older. We missed out on prime swimming-learning time because of the pandemic, and my child feels awkward going in the pool when he is not as good as other kids his age.
The activities are very interactive and the program is amazing. My daughter looks forward to camp every week.
Ms Liz is amazing
My daughter enjoys the theme weeks for camp as well as all of the activities, songs and things you all do!
The kids are busy all day during the Day Camp! My son loves it!
Kids have fun!
the swim lessons are the best in the area
swim lessons are, hands down, better than the competition
Everything g!
I love that you offer so many classes/activities for my daughter, and your day camps offer so much variety as well.
My daughter has learned so much from the swimming program. She continues to gain confidence and enhance her skills!
I like the facilities and the swimming classes. The gym is also very good.

Aquafit taught by Rena.
Extensive facilities and lots of choices for classes and independent exercise
Aqua aerobics in family therapy pool has been life changing for me.
Pickleball has added a new hobby and lots of new friends.
I like the atmosphere at UMLY, everyone is friendly and welcoming. I think the instructors and classes they offer are challenging and fun!

Our son loves the summer camps especially tennis. The swim program is great, although I am waiting for a slot since last September.
