I appreciate the outdoor swim opportunities for lap swimmers. Making a reservation ensures that there will be a place when I arrive. However I have noticed that often not everyone who has reserved a place actually shows up.
I am glad they masks are required, and there is both an indoor and an outdoor entrance to the outdoor pool.

Management of the swimming protocols and programs, especially the lap swimming, is done by professionals that know and understand this sport. This is rarity at many pools.

I’ve been playing tennis in the clinics and the pros have been so kind and patient with implementing new procedures. They are all upbeat and make us laugh on the courts.
It’s wonderful to hit that ball again!

I mainly use UMLY for the outdoor 50M pool which is great. I use West Chester for indoor swimming but the lap pool has very limited lap swimming during the COVID schedule so I have not been back there since the opening.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Those who cannot wear masks while exercising should be sent to programs that do not require masks (outside, swimming, etc). Having them with others in the gym puts others at risk -- that is not appropriate or acceptable.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

People are fantastic, though the wellness center staff needs to bear down on people who do not wipe down equipment with sanitizer after use. I see a great deal of that going on despite all the signage.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

We only participated in 1 week of Camp (Tracks and Trails), but my Son thoroughly enjoyed it and commented that he wished we had planned for more camp at the Y this summer. The Camp Team did an excellent job with organizing drop off and pick-ups as much as possible and my Son was engaged during the day with the activities he participated in. The Covid safety measure put in place were far better than the other camp my Son attended this Summer. Thanks!
