I like that the youth basketball program is a fun, low-pressure way to learn the sport. My boys have a TON of fun each week. I also like that for the 5-6 year olds, the practices and games are both on Saturdays.

Well run program. Very enjoyable for kids and parents. Fair, kind play is encouraged by staff which isn’t always found in youth sports. Thank you Jonathan Williams and your team.
So me and my son have been ymca members for about a year now and we love it I do have one issue I signed my three year old son up for extra activities and basically the first three classes for both swimming and tiny tinny tennis have not been great both classes my son was the only kid the times were switched on me three times for both classes so it was not organized at all and bc of that reason I’m not sure I want to sign up for anymore extra classes Do to the fact it’s been unorganized and I found it strange that the front desk Personnel have no information about the classes and I feel as though if you are the first person a customer sees when they walk into a business they should be able to answer any questions a client has but it is a personal opinion. Otherwise I love the upper mainline ymca everyone is kind and friendly
We are new to using the YMCA. Our goal is to have the children learn to swim. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Everyone is friendly. The swim instructors knowledgeable and attentive. Especially Wendy, of the preschool group. We are very pleased with service we have received and the children are excited to go.
All activities for our family is under one roof.
Excellent communication from Y staff; prompt timing of events; positive attitude from coaches and staff; good rapport with children
Ymca is awesome. Family friendly, really nice people
Program Activities, Instructor Experience, Facility
The instructors are great, and having good child care available is amazing!
Wendy really does an amazing job with the kids. She’s been so patient when my 3 year old acts up and also is very encouraging when she completes even the smallest of milestones. We live Wendy and will continue taking her swim classes.
Andy is a wonderful coach, who has a way of connecting with children to help them learn to swim and be safe in the water.
Our instructor for the swim lessons for our daughter was amazing. He is caring and has a great attitude.
Tracy is so calm and real engages my boys.
I do think five is too many for a swim class though.
Fun and available for all ages and skill sets
There are many activities for every member of our family
Its good program.
Miss Wendy is amazing!
Gym
tha programs are very reasonably priced and u get good bang for your money.
Convenient and well equipped
Artery of programs for all ages
Love the childcare (Sally, Mary, Kim, Jenny, Sarah, Daniel and all) and the tennis pros ( Don, Wendy, Kai, KK, Cornell, Jay, Billy, Deb, Steve, etc).
Thanks for a great family experience!!
I particularly love the yoga and pilates classes, the gym and sauna. But what I love most about the Y is the community and inclusiveness policy. The Y encourages seniors to exercise and helps people with less financial stability to afford membership (although this could be publicized more). It’s a wonderful place. I love it! I do hope the Y continues to add all levels of classes to the schedule - that is one area where the competition has an edge.
Something for everyone!
I like the pool and the gym. My daughter has participated in dance for 3 years it’s great.
Tennis!
The variety of programs and activities is what I like the best.
Jonathan does a great job with the pre school sports. My daughter has loved soccer and basketball

Friendly staff and great equipment
