My kids had great fund and also made tons of friends. The staff was very friendly and observant of all COVID protection measures.

Our two grandsons are attending camp together. One for the second time as a four year old and the other for the sixth time as a twelve year old. Both are having a great summer. Kudos to the Y for meeting the challenge during this difficult time to have camp and train your counsellors and other staff to effectivly adjust to the situation.......particularly during drop off and pick up.

Activities are being conducted safely and with a focus on the kids having fun! Great attitudes on the part of the counsellors and the staff.

Great camp!

Given the uncertainty of the times and the extreme procedures needed to keep campers and counselors safe, we feel the Y has been extremely organized and well structured to handle the situation while still providing a fun filled day for the kids :)

Our Pathfinder loves the variety of activities. He especially loves swimming, playground, and CANOEING! Our Woodsy’s Pals camper loves swimming, dance parties, and the new friends she has made. This has been an extremely important summer for our children to socialize and interact with other children their age and Camp UMLY has delivered.

My 7 year old son is loving camp at UMLY! He especially loves the nature lessons and taking care of the animals. He's knows all of them by name. After several months of isolation at home with working parents being at the Y, outside, daily with other children is such a blessing.

Summer camp program

My boys love camp and love their counselors ! They’re young boys so they don’t say much but their smiles say it all :)

So family friendly. My kids loves summer camp.

Janelle Brandberg, the theater director at UMLY, is absolutely amazing. She creates an environment of learning and self expression that has been vital to my child's confidence and development.

The swim instructors are fantastic! I have watched my child develop basic skills thanks to these programs.

Summer camp is the BOMB! This is my son's second summer at Y-Camp and we are so happy with it. Our son always has fun and interesting stories and he is always exhausted when he comes home which tells me he is active and having fun.

The summer camp has been fantastic! They are still having fun and doing traditional camp experiences while maintains safety stamdards.

I like that my child feels normal, that he is surrounded by kids in a safe environment and gets to socialize, be outside and grow. I only wish we could get feedback from counselors or have a chance to speak to them to see how the kids are doing. Some days my son comes back and tell me that someone hurt his feeling or kicked him and he’s fine and I’m not worried, it’s just kids at play, but it would be nice to have someone to communicate with. Otherwise, I am super happy about the program and how well it’s being run!

I think they cover a wide range of interests of the children. I know there is less offered do to Covid but have been happy. It's our first year at the camp.

The Teachers, Counselors, and Staff are very nice to the campers. For a challenging Pandemic Summer, they are doing a nice job. My daughter is happy with a smile on her face when picked up at the end of the day. Since school was virtual, UMLY camp has been a nice bridge to normalcy and lets the campers socialize safely. This is our daughter's 6th year at UMLY summer camp and it continues to be a positive experience and the Y did a lot of research and planning for this challenging time. They are doing a great job!

The variety of activities and the fact that you remained open during the pandemic, thereby providing kids the incredibly valuable opportunity to socialize with their peers.

Outdoor tennis has been great to keep active and still socialize in a safe way.

Our 5.5 yo daughter is excited every day to go to camp. It is extremely well organized, especially given the current COVID situation. We feel that our daughter is safe while enjoying the company of friends and different activities. We would highly recommend the Upper Main Line YMCA Summer camp!!
