I greatly appreciate all the health and safety protocols in place for summer camp!
I think they cover a wide range of interests of the children. I know there is less offered do to Covid but have been happy. It's our first year at the camp.
The Teachers, Counselors, and Staff are very nice to the campers. For a challenging Pandemic Summer, they are doing a nice job. My daughter is happy with a smile on her face when picked up at the end of the day. Since school was virtual, UMLY camp has been a nice bridge to normalcy and lets the campers socialize safely. This is our daughter's 6th year at UMLY summer camp and it continues to be a positive experience and the Y did a lot of research and planning for this challenging time. They are doing a great job!
The variety of activities and the fact that you remained open during the pandemic, thereby providing kids the incredibly valuable opportunity to socialize with their peers.
Outdoor tennis has been great to keep active and still socialize in a safe way.

Our 5.5 yo daughter is excited every day to go to camp. It is extremely well organized, especially given the current COVID situation. We feel that our daughter is safe while enjoying the company of friends and different activities. We would highly recommend the Upper Main Line YMCA Summer camp!!

I love that they are outside all day unless it rains. I love the extra steps the Y has taken this summer and I think everyone is doing a fantastic job! I recommend the Y for camp, daycare, and swim team all the time!

My kids have outgrown the summer camp; but they went for many years & absolutely loved it. Everyone to whom I have recommended the summer camp agrees, their kids love it too. It's one of the best summer camps available.
The number of pools available & the new family pool with slide etc. is awesome. There's always a pool available whatever your age or your interest.
I absolutely love the wellness center. There is plenty of equipment & it's well maintained. Even in the face of the current COVID-19 crisis; the gym is accessible & clean.
Overall, my whole family enjoys spending time at the Upper Mainline YMCA. The branch has always had what we needed regardless of the age of our children. And I really think we are all in better shape because it is such a pleasant & varied experience

I haven't done anything except swim laps in the outdoor pool, starting this June of 2020. So far, it seems to be fine. The staff is polite, the other swimmers are friendly and respectful for the most part, the pool seems clean. It's been lovely.

I like the varied workout classes that are offered. The instructors are excellent and interesting and the times offered fit my schedule.
I love that you are open now! I use your work out upstairs weight & cardio room. It's always clean & staff is helpful.
Not a fan of closing or shortened hours when neighboring Ys are open though.
I like that my child feels normal, that he is surrounded by kids in a safe environment and gets to socialize, be outside and grow. I only wish we could get feedback from counselors or have a chance to speak to them to see how the kids are doing. Some days my son comes back and tell me that someone hurt his feeling or kicked him and he’s fine and I’m not worried, it’s just kids at play, but it would be nice to have someone to communicate with. Otherwise, I am super happy about the program and how well it’s being run!
