I primarily use the Wellness Center which is excellent. The only gripe I have is people sitting on machines staring at their phones. I wish that the staff would walk around and remind them of the rules on cell phone use in the Wellness Center.
The hours are very good
Enjoy my classes, but more importantly the tour of the Cassett mansion was so interesting and alldue to our guide. This should be offered again but with a note steps are required for those who may not be able to do.
Lots of great yoga instructors! A variety of days and times to take classes. Lots of work out equipment! The family therapy pool area and sauna are great. The woman’s locker room also has a sauna and steam room with lots of showers.
I like the classes and enjoy the pool
The instructors are positive and encouraging. Before every class, they remind us to do what we can and there is no stigma if our stamina isn't strong that day. "You do you, "and "You're ego is not your amigo," are two of my favorite phrases. I like the variety and how the programs foster a sense of community which the instructors foster.
UMLY is truly a Community Center meeting many needs of the local folks. I am sure every person benefits in someway from your efforts.

Facility is tired. Locker rooms, showers are tired and dirty at times. Wellness center is good.
It would be good if all the games could be at UMLY. It's difficult to with the kids schedules to travel to Coatesville. Also the other flag football league has the kids all wearing eagles jersey's and you can reuse it the next season which saves costs. Right now we have a Rams and Seahawks jersey which he is never going to wear outside of flag football. He would wear an Eagles jersey. They flip the jersey depending if you are home or away.
Swimming lessons for my kids
I enjoy some fitness classes. And I enjoyed The Wizard of Oz presentation that the Y sponsored.
I like that the instructors tell us to do what we can, move at our own pace, etc. I am seriously out of shape!

At check in please leave the scanner in the caddy ( Stand) up on the desk
so we can walk by and check in quickly. it helps if we are late to a class or appointment

However I have some criticisms: 1) something is always broken(e.g. hot tub) 2) lack of pickleball instruction (e.g. drills).

While I do not take advantage of all the resources available to me through the Y, I do use the fitness facility an a Personal Trainer regularly. I am very satisfied with the fitness facility and my trainer Alex Lefever.
I enjoy the warm swimming pool to do my laps and to take the aqua classes in the mornings.
Something for everyone.
I am mainly interested in the gym&the pool at UMLY. I am very grateful to have access to both. In 1967 I was blown up by a large, 3 part explosive device while leading my Marine Rifle Platoon through a mined area in Vietnam.
I thus received numerous wounds, and have been wheelchair bound since then. I mention these details only to highlight how friendly & helpful the UMLY staff members and brother and sisters at the gym and pool have consistently been over the decades.
This "human element" makes UMLY outstanding in all respects.
I like the fact that I can play tennis or pickle ball, workout, or swim, all in the same facility, all year long.
Group ex classes, but I have a suggestion to use social media to promote them more such as when a new class is added. Some classes don’t get many attendees and I think if they were promoted more we would get more members.

We LOVE the actual instruction and what you're teaching my kids in the pool and I've always been a huge fan of UMLY, since my time there as a kid.
However, I find it challenging that the schedule moves around from session to session and you can't sign up/reserve a space for a longer period of time. I've missed out on some continuity because I haven't remembered to sign up early enough and the next session fills up. Personally I think the current class should receive priority placement or pre-registration. I also find the online system incredibly hard to navigate. There should be a reminder of what current level you're in, and what you're looking for. For instance I just signed my daughter up for stage 3 lessons by accident when she should have been in stage 4, but stage 3 is now at the same time and day of week as her old stage 4 class, but I didn't catch it! The whole process could be much easier!!!
I love the variety of the group exercise classes! They have changed my body! I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff at the front desk.

I have had a very positive experience after many years attending Aqua Fit & other activities.
