Besides being a place for exercise, it has the feeling of a community place, where we either know other members or recognize others from seeing each other pretty often.

Staff. It's never really about the building or the equipment (although important) it is the STAFF. Since rejoining they have been friendly, professional, encouraging and just down right nice.

Excellent swim team. Coach is amazing. Lovely facility. Treadmills have not been updated for a while though.

I enjoy coming to the YMCA Kennett to do my weekly exercises. The staff is and has been wonderful for me to accomplish my goals. I can't say it enough but I truly appreciate Jane Martin in helping me overcome my fear of water and learning to swim. This was a bucket list goal.

What do you like about your membership?

Just rejoined after a lapse of a couple of years. I liked the water aerobics and fitness class in the warm water pool.

Now I am using some of the machines and looking forward to taking some classes.
Friendly and comfortable atmosphere and I enjoy seeing people of all different ages doing their thing at the Y.

Pretty much everything - the wonderfully welcoming staff, the extensive first-rate facilities, the stellar and diverse programming, and the nonpareil community spirit!
