Every single person that we interact with when we are at the YMCA, from Jeanie at the front desk to Jan in the pool and Kelly the lifeguard, is kind, friendly, and interested in making sure that my daughter and I are having a good time and getting what we need. Everyone is warm and approachable, and I feel like our presence is genuinely welcomed.

What do you like about your membership?

We love the Kennett Y... it's a warm, welcoming environment. I'm not a huge fan of gyms, but I will go to this one happily!

What do you like about our programs and activities?

There isn't anything that I don't like! In fact, I am grateful that the Kennett Y adopted the Cycle for Parkinson's class that my husband attends regularly. Exercise is as important as medications.

My only wish is that perhaps a monitor with a loop demonstrating the HIIT exercises could be placed in that room. Since there are no late afternoon classes available, I would like to do HIIT on my schedule, but often there are exercises listed that I have no idea how to perform them.

But...you can't be everything to everyone. I I think the Kennett Y is about as good as it gets.

I love the YMCA. I love that people know my name and say hello when I come in. I love that my instructor is my next door neighbor. I love the supportive atmosphere.

I love that my family can be together and work out, play and make healthy choices together. My favorite part is having child watch so I can have mommy time and exercise.

What do you like about your membership?

The ability to work out while my kids are in a fun safe environment. Being able to explore different options available for me as a member. Having the corporate discount is great too. Joe one of the personal trainers (Kennett Square pa)is absolutely amazing, and it works out that she is able to accommodate my schedule on Thursday nights!

Love how great the Machines work and how clean everything is, I have a great time working out with my wife and swimming with my children.
