I am retired and working on getting back in shape. The Y offers a variety of group exercise programs that enable you to take a different program each day.

I am also working with a trainer. She has been instrumental in motivating me and giving me a variety of workouts. In about 3 months the personal training got me to where I could try and do various group exercise programs.

Last, the staff who check you in are friendly. I also appreciate that the Y employs disabled or individuals with various challenges.

The Y has terrific classes and weight room. Pickleball is so popular and the Y adds more people each week but there aren’t enough play times for all to play

Great staff, great facility, and feel safe

The Kennett Y is very well equipped. The facility is kept very clean. The equipment is generally well maintained. The staff are always friendly. The facility is often busy, but generally never so busy that equipment/space is unavailable if I use a little flexible in negotiating my workout. Very happy with the Y!

I love the entire atmosphere at the Kennett Square area YMCA. It’s such a friendly, welcoming and inclusive place. I am a lap swimmer and have met friends in the pool where our friendship has extended beyond spending time in the pool. I am now going to try Body Pump, and Fit Lite classes. The YMCA is truly a “happy place” and a true asset to our community.

Excellent. The kids definitely grew as competent swimmers over the cycle.

Fit Lite keeps me moving—pleasant at the same time. Warm water pool (when the temperature is right) is soothing during the arthritis class. Ladies work hard at keeping everything clean and do a wonderful job. Front desk personnel are always welcoming and cheerful.

Well trained and motivating group ex instructors. I do group ex classes Mon -Fri.

Variety, easily scheduling. Would like to see more cultural programming….learning a new language, art, etc
