The performance program teaches teamwork, accountability, and leadership skills. The atmosphere and culture are positive and upbeat (no pun intended). Being able to play an instrument or sing well builds confidence in a young person. Confidence leads to success!
School of Rock in Boulder is a positive space for kids! My son has had amazing lessons for the past few years, and is now participating in a performance with regular rehearsals. It is a wonderful experience for him, and I enjoy the friendliness, creativity and professionalism of the teachers and staff!

The best part about the School of Rock in Boulder CO is the feeling of family. My son is shy and the staff was so welcoming and treated him like he already belonged.

Playing in a band atmosphere, and not just lessons
We've been to two lessons so far and my favorite part besides how happy my daughter was when she finished her lesson was the amount of respect the instructors gave her and her passion at the young age of 6.

I love how friendly and helpful everyone is when we go to School of Rock. The kids/students and the grown-ups/teachers create a warm community! My son has grown a lot in his guitar abilities and is writing original songs. His teacher Halle is amazing!!!

My kids love having the ability to play with other kids and to play at amazing venues through house band. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and really challenge my kids.

Pierce just started his lessons with Deniz. He is very much enjoying them.
My daughter really enjoyed the opportunity to be so creative. She is already musical and being with a group of other talented teens has inspired her to take her music to the next level. She felt "at home" with the other kids and the staff was extremely supportive and encouraging. After this week, she has signed up for the Performance Program.

I love the teachers and administrators for their knowledge, skill, enthusiasm and willingness to engage in wide-ranging conversations about the music world, with newbies as well as those students who are more advanced.
The atmosphere at Boulder School of Rock is always welcoming and fun. And the school goes out of its way to make certain that students are aware of their scheduling and financial information and responsibilities. The office communicates extremely well on a personal level.

The turn around here in the last 6 months has been AMAZING!!! The new manager is friendly and engaged with parents and kids, and the instructors are professional and fun and really pushing my kid in new musical ways.

SOR Rocks! My son has been with their program for years. It has helped to turn him into a highly talented musician. The way the program is set up works incredibly well to motivate kids to actually learn music. They will be playing with their friends, in front of their families, and so they really put in the work to learn. I can't say enough great things about their programs.
