The Boulder School of Rock has excellent teachers! They are skilled, passionate abut what they are doing, encouraging, and fun to be around. We also like the community of musicians. My daughters finds them talented and kind. Also the performance programs are creative and well run. It's an amazing program!
Ava loves learning new songs on both her electric bass and guitar and playing in a ""band". She really likes the instructors and the whole vibe of the programs. It has been particularly helpful during the pandemic to have a place to have safe distanced interaction with musicians her age.
Good information on music and the structure of music. Also everyone's really nice and enthusiastic. Icoming to lessons is one of the best parts of my week.

I like that School of Rock provides quality instruction and a musical community for my daughter while also taking into account her strengths, likes/dislikes and highlighting them. Although, not possible now, I love the performance format used to display what they've learned.
School of Rock has been the biggest gift to our family. My son has such confidence in getting on stage. The students are all so supportive and encouraging of each other so they all have the confidence to stand up on stage. The staff is incredible and they make each kid feel like a million bucks. We love SOR!
The opportunity for our son to learn how to play with other musicians has re-inspired his love of playing. The groups paired with individual lessons is the perfect balance. We all like the songs chosen to learn for performances.
Sean is the most wonderful teacher: knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about music. My child brought up Bil Withers because he wanted to learn "Lean on Me" for camp. Sean spontaneously told him about Withers' life, how resilient he was, and starting teaching the song without prep. Same with many other songs far outside the top 10 list. During these trying times, to have such a kind and accepting teacher in our child's life is such a gift. My kid is learning music, but so much more.
Also, Kelly at the front desk is very responsive and warm--she's so patient and always on top of all the logistics/options for our child.

Friendly and helpful staff
Sean is awesome! Our seven year old loves his zoom class and looks forward to it every week. Sean challenges him and keeps him interested. We look forward to the time when we can participate in classes and group activities in person.
