Customer Testimonials
I love the program and how Eve is letting Maya explore music in all forms. Maya is excited to come to lessons and I love seeing her learn and grow.
My only complaint is that I accessing videos via Basecamp has been problematic.
Overall, we LOVE School of Rock!
This place is great!!! Everyone is so nice, welcoming and supportive of my 7 year old son.
We loved our teacher. There has been good communication with us about lessons. Everyone is super friendly and my kid just loves the rookies rock sessions
Great staff who make music fun my son loves it!
Sean Galansky is an excellent teacher--warm, smart, and patient. Our child has learned more from a few months with him than years of music at his public school in Boulder. The front desk, esp Kelly, always is organized and inviting.
We love the can-do approach at School of Rock. Everyone gets a chance to play and the final performance is great.
Such a great quality of teaching and in tune with what connects with my child to make the most inspired to grow as a musician
Really friendly and supportive environment. My son loves it.
We love Kevin
Amazing teachers
Great teachers and staff!
The teacher, Sean, is great with our child—makes learning fun. He also clearly communicates with us as parents.
Kelly also is very helpful at the front desk and via email.
The teachers and staff are great. They really push you to work out of your comfort zone.
The variety of instruments and fun environment
Opportunity for gigs and the feeling of a band
You do a great job not only teaching music but also creating enthusiasm about music and a desire to practice/play on your own to improve. I am also impressed with the community that you create as everyone that walks through the door is welcomed and that goes a long way for building relationships and self esteem both in your studio and out. Thanks!
We like the enthusiasm of the instructors.
Everyone gets equal opportunity to play. It's possible to try different instruments, like bass!
1) The quality of teaching, which our son -- who has had multiple teachers in the past -- rates as excellent.
2 The diversity of music offered.
3) Range of ages of kids involved in single bands in the Performance bands.
4) The fact that there is an advanced, House Band offered, in addition to the Performance bands.
One thing that is missing is the opportunity for the kids to compose and perform some of their own music, in addition to covers. I strongly recommend this (our son participated in another program for more than a year in another community that insisted that the advanced bands compose at least three of their own songs, with the assistance of the teachers).
It’s a great supportive community where the students and instructors seem to genuinely enjoy each other. The goal is to keep kids engaged and developing and the new casting protocol for shows seems super effective and positive. The shows have improved a ton!
Super instructors and high quality performances
The variety. My child started as a drummer and still is, but by design has been exposed to many instruments and now enjoys learning them all.
The programs are so fun, and the teachers are so encouraging and nurturing!
Quality of teachers, and the fact that our child really enjoys participating in the program.
I love the friendly, dedicated and talented instructors at School of Rock! They make learning how to play an instrument and music theory both fun for my son. They also give him a practice space where he can experience playing with other musicians in a performance setting. He's playing music daily outside of lessons and has even begun to compose his own music. Thank you!
The instructors are AMAZING. Right now, Boulder SOR has the best instructors they've ever had!
Love that my son gets exposed to new music and is made to feel a part of something special.
The staff and how they did nteract with the students. My only complaint is that the adult band class is too short. It needs to be at least 2 hours.
Give me kids so much confidence! They love playing songs they actually want to play, songs they listen to on the radio, and immediately get comfortable playing with other kids, listening while they're playing. They don't want to let the entire group down either, which motivates them to practice. Most of all, because it's fun!
Empower my child to play the music she wants. And an environment that allows each kid to be their authentic self and bond with other "misfits!"
