I enjoy the CorePower format- hour long classes and heated but not Bikram.

I'd resisted yoga-- particularly heated yoga-- for years before a friend essentially tricked me into coming to a sculpt class... and I LOVED it. I've now been coming to sculpt 2-3 times a week for the past year and still find the class challenging, exciting, and fun. I always feel great after class and have noticeable improvements in my endurance and strength (I can do push ups on my feet for the first time in my life!) I recommend corepower to colleagues and friends on a regular basis. Thanks for the great work!

EVERY instructor is fabulous. I like how each instructor puts his or her own stamp on a class, ie sculpt is different with each instructor even though some of the routines are similar. i like that the instructors seem to really care about making each class an amazing workout -- they are not just going through the motions. There's also a really positive energy. You have a lot of very fit and strong people there, but they are not weirdly competitive. (Sadly i have experienced that dynamic at other yoga studios)

I like the programming - the C2 classes are always challenging but accessible and sculpt is a great workout

Great, challenging classes. I can always expect a good workout, even though they change up the sequence each time. Instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and helpful.

Excellent classes and instructors

I like the sense of community and the wide variety of class options. One thing I will say about the Georgetown location though, is cleanliness of the studio leaves a lot to be desired.

Love Sculpt. I live in Arlington, VA just over the Key Bridge & I drive to Georgetown every morning at 6am to avoid paying for parking. I would love a location in Arlington.

I like the workout I get from Yoga Sculpt so that get's a 9 out of 10. It's a great workout. Period. However I would like to take this opportunity to point out what I don't like about my Corepower studio (Georgetown, DC):
1. People walking in the yoga studio with shoes on to place their mats. I have never ever heard a teacher tell a student this was not acceptable. I watch 3 women wear shoes into the classroom yesterday.
2. iphones in class. There are always people texting in the studio before class begins. I observed this yesterday and am quite certain the teacher saw it too but said nothing. I have been in many classes where people had their phones next to their mat during class.
3. Too much talking during class. The teacher is the only one speaking, students are there to work. To their credit, I have occasionally heard teachers ask students to stop talking.
These things would never occur in some of the other studios I attend, and before every SoulCycle class the instructor reiterates the rules (no cell phones, no talking, etc.) As one of the older (i.e., mid-40's) people who attend the Georgetown studio it would be great if these basic rules were posted, discussed AND ENFORCED.

Great atmosphere- always fun and friendly (and clean!)

The yoga classes are always different, interesting and challenging, and all of the instructors are very great at what they do. I always look forward to my sweat at CPY!

Cleanliness of facilities and the friendliness of the instructors for practitioners of all levels. You all rock!

Absolutely love you guys! Never liked YOGA or GROUP CLASSES and now you can find me there 3-4 times a week. From Mandi to Erin to Jessica...thsoe girls have inspired me. My husband and I got in wedding shape from Mandi's classes!

2 things I am not a fan of...how much control teachers are given with music. I took a class from Ashley that had Obama's speech put to techno music. Not ok. This should be a mental cleanse political free zone. I left. Then Derricks classes I cannot go to because he will only play beyonce or mariah. We used to do double date wednesdays but can't with Derrick as the teacher. No energy and bad music.

Don't want to end on a negative note ...so ill end it with a THANK YOU. You have taught me how to NAMASTE and believe in myself.

I love the studio--nice and clean, very big and open. Your prices are some of the best in town for the space and class that you get. I like the mix of teachers since each one has their own style.

I love sculpt class!I get actual results from the class and feel strong and trim.

I absolutely love CPY Georgetown. Since becoming an unlimited member almost a year ago, my body has become stronger, leaner, and I feel better! I have gotten at least 10 friends to try your studio and almost all of them have become members too! Sculpt is my favorite class because it really works every muscle group. Some of the teachers I love are Mandi, Jessica (teaches at Glover usually,) Erin, Laura, Rebecca G and First name removed J. I like how each teacher's class is different and challenging in its own way. Any teacher that kicks really works me hard is a teacher I love and come back for time and time again.

I reallly enjoy the products and services available as well. I have only 2 suggestions- if you are an unlimited member, I think more should be free to you- for example, towels. Everything is an extra expense when you walk in the studio, and it would be nice to have just 1 of the things taken care of in case you forget something.

Other than this, I truly look forward to each time I practice yoga at CYP!
