I like that it’s different every time and that it’s indoors :) I like that you can go at your own pace. I have some medical conditions that are some days worse than others and I like that I don’t feel pressure to push past my limits.
The times which are available.
I am 83 years old. what I like is that it keeps me from having to be on walkers, on canes and in the operating room for bad joints like all the people in the "old folks home" where I live. So why am I living here. My wife developed Alzheimers and I need help until, three months ago when she left me and went to be with Jesus
Intensity, something different all the time, instructors of Lakewood make it fun.
I do not dread coming to the gym. By mixing up the workouts, not telegraphing what exercises or blocks are next and having different coaches with different energy and great playlists make it fun yet challenging. The best thing is seeing the difference it makes it people who stay committed to the plan and show up regularly.
It’s only an hour and I’m forced to go because of the cancellation fee
Never the same, air conditioning always works, towels provided, instructors do care and watch carefully whether you’re doing the excercise correctly, love the fact I can work out anywhere with my heart monitor (and have in 6 states so far).

I love the larger space and the fact they have 14 stations. The coaches are awesome and the workouts always challenge and never get boring. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like that the studio is not oversold like many where it is impossible to even get on a waitlist.

It's always different, and it's always challenging. You always know you're going to get an amazing workout in and come out of the studio dripping in sweat!

It goes by fast. I can go at my own pace and adjust my effort as needed. Help is there when I don’t know how to adjust an exercise and need guidance. There is a mix of strength and cardio so I get what I need in every workout.

I love that I always feel like I got a great, full body workout in an hour of my time. The workouts change daily, so it doesn't ever get boring. We are always working different muscle groups in different ways on the floor, and I have seen improvements in my running from the interval-based training on the treadmills.
I can't say enough about the quality of Lakewood's trainers. Every single trainer is upbeat, knowledgeable, and motivating in all the best ways. There is no shaming (body or effort wise) and as a female athlete, I find this most encouraging. I have never heard a Lakewood trainer mention "bikini season" or anything of the sort. The focus is always on what our bodies can accomplish. The trainers also get to know us as individuals and know what we are capable of, our strengths and our weaknesses. I've had different trainers push me on my rowing, hand me heavier weights, or encourage me to modify a move to make it more challenging for me.
Finally, the community at Lakewood is like no other. We have the best members. Even at 4:30 in the morning, people talk to each other and encourage each other. I have made new friends, and I love witnessing their transformations.
Some people are on a weight loss journey, and for them, OTF is likely the most effective workout regimen for fast results. But even if you're not trying to lose weight, OTF is a great complement to a consistent exercise routine (I run outside of OTF and do OTF anywhere from 2 to 4 days a week). I have visited only one other studio, and it was great too. But it wasn't Lakewood.
