I LOVE Katie’s workouts. She explains things very well and puts on good music. She’s great about pointing out details during exercise demonstrations so we can get our form right.
Morgan doesn’t always explain the exercises after each rotation, so if you don’t start on weights, you can’t necessarily see what she’s demonstrating. We are then left to decipher what we see on the TVs and our form suffers.
I also really like that Katie will give an overview of everything you’ll be doing on each station so we know what is coming up. That way we can dial in our speed or intensity, and not burn out or go too light.
I really enjoyed working with Jessica. She kept the class motivated and engaged. She was super helpful with lifting pointers and gave equal attention to everyone through out the class. It was an awesome first day back into working out! The specific workout we did, tornado, was great. You spend about 5 minutes per session and then move to the next piece of equipment. It definitely helps from getting bored and promotes continuous little bursts of energy. Loved the class!
I really enjoyed how we could do it at our own pace and if we wanted to go harder we could but if we wanted to slow down nobody batted an eye!
It’s fun. Group motivation. Coaches are fun. Studio is new!
It’s variety of exercises
Variety, upbeat music, that other people are working out with me, but I'm not in competition with them, only in competition with myself. Everyone is welcoming and friendly.
I’ve been coming here for a few months and the workouts are always different. I love switching things up and always leave feeling better!
Friendly coaches; workout variety.
I love the 5:00 AM class and the consistency of the workouts. I used to go to another gym for 5:15 AM classes which is too late for me but the real issue was the energy level was always too sleepy and the vibe was “good job just getting here”. At OTF the workout at 5:00AM is the same as any other time of day and for me that is key.

The instructor was engaging and the class was energetic and supportive of each other. It made me feel welcomed and more inclined to come back to this studio over others in the area.

I like the structure of the work outs. They have good variety of different types of training. You can take a day and not go as hard or crazy as you usually do but still get a work out in. The coaches are good. We have an incredibly high turnover rate at our studio which makes it hard to get to know your coaches. However the variety of coaches is fun.
Great coaches and variation in workouts.
I like the variation and the progression of the class. I also like that I can pace myself for days when I need to take it easy or days that I want to challenge myself.

Fun and motivating workout!
I love all the workout and the coaches. I would like it if the coaches corrected our form though when we are doing the floor workout. Some do but most just walk around and don't even look at our form. They walk up and down without checking our form, you can see some of the newer folks doing the work out wrong but the coach just walks by. This could lead to someone hurting themselves then eventually not coming back.
It's only an hour workout and it would make a world of difference if the coach spent a minute correcting someones form and not just passing by. I've seen it where a member was helping another member with their form while the coach walked by. Coach is very good just not great at helping the members on the floor.
The never ending variety of workouts; targeted purpose: instructions on adapting if needed; & great instructors! I can come in and get a full body workout, including cardio in one hour
Love the different workout styles and perspectives the different coaches bring, the energy in the classes, and all the great personal stats the monitors provide.

My daughter and I took a class a few months ago at Arlington- Columbia Pike studio. From the very beginning we LOVED the manager, Jess. She made us feel so welcome, like we were exactly where we should be! She is the reason we joined. Even though my daughter moved to Florida, we both are still going strong and enjoying the uniqueness & the challenge of the Orange Theory experience!
