Always work up a good sweat and burn to start the day. The variety of workouts from 3 different stations keeps things interesting.

That the workouts change daily. The coaches are encouraging and fun, and the coaches help you to reach limits you didn’t know you could reach. They give you that little extra push right when you need it.

Guidance, knowledge and encouragement from coach, ease of scheduling. I wish the unlimited package is more affordable as 2 days/week is not enough to notice a difference.

What do you like about our workout?

I have been a member of Orange Theory Orland Park for 2 years. I have nothing but positive things to say about your studio and staff. I have lost over 30 pounds & give all the credit to walking into your Orland Park location 2 years ago.

While I understand that change is often necessary and the majority of the time is done so to create a better workout environment, I am recently confused by the constant changes being made likely because of a “select few” members who honestly always have something to complain about. I’m certain this statement will come as no surprise to you but, “you will never be able to make everyone happy”.

If I am doing the Math correctly, the complaints you receive are from a very small group of people. For a while this small group of people were upset because a certain coach moved onto to a new studio. He was a great coach and this is no disrespect to him but the CURRENT coaches you have are amazing! They go above and beyond to push us and although I am not privy to your specific numbers, the fact that I see new members joining weekly and classes that constantly have a waitlist – the Orland Park location is thriving! Hopefully people have moved on from this issue.

Then the complaining started about having to wait in the lobby for a proper introduction. It took a little getting used to, but things seem to be running smoothly & the small group of complainers have finally moved on from this issue.

The latest change involves the new rower and treadmill cards. From what I witnessed people were happy to know prior to class what specific treadmill or rower to report to & even appreciated the fact that they could grab a card that would ensure they could workout next to a friend or family member that was also in the class. I walked into Orange Theory a few days ago and the numbers had been removed from the rower/treadmill cards and you could no longer grab a card for that workout friend that was in class with you. Now I am only assuming, that once again a group of “complainers” took the time to email you about their dislike for the numbered treadmill/rower card.

It’s ridiculous at this point. I find it unheard of that a select few can complain and you are so quick to make a change to make such a small percentage of people happy. This small group of complainers are finally getting under my skin. I wish they would take the time to tell you all the great things happening at OTF Orland and if they continue to complain, maybe they should consider finding a new place to workout at. Let’s face it you do not need them- business looks fine and might even be better without them. I truly feel bad for your front desk staff who has to implement these changes, that seem to be happening all too frequently. They are the ones catching slack from members, getting attitude about the changes yet they still smile and try to make everyone happy.

I want to be clear, I am not complaining about a single change that has been made. If you need new policies to help the gym run smoother and be more efficient great! These are decisions that you need to make and then you need to stand by.

I apologize that so many of us, likely 99% of us who are happy members, do not take the time to send well deserved compliments to you regarding our experience. I can only hope that we have a period of consistency and that people who continue to think only about themselves and not what is best for the studio as a whole move on. The point of this letter is simply to say, make the changes you want and feel are necessary. But do not make a change, listen to a small percentage of complaints & make another change to make those people happy. It’s frustrating to those of us who have nothing to complain about at all.

I’m a member in Sanford, Fl and was in Mt. Prospect for the weekend. I’m from MP originally and saw there was a OT walking distance from my hotel so I thought it would be fun to try their 3g class Saturday morning. It was a great fun workout and perfect way to start my trip!

Caesar, he is an amazing coach. He explains the workout in a way that is easily understood. He give alternative exercises to fit your ability. He checks on you throughout your workout and motivates you to try harder.
