I like a class led by a coach, I like the variety of workouts, Kim, Megan, Brandon & Alyssa are awesome!
All I have to do is show up and work out. They have my ruteen all mapped out for us. And the trainers are fun to be with.
It lasts an hour, but it feels like 15 minutes. The trainers are great and make the experience enjoyable.

I have only been to Orange Theory one time but I can tell you it's nothing compared to a regular gym. You get access to a coach that helps you through the whole work out. They push you and help you stay going even when you want to give up because you're tired. They are kind to you and are understanding that life happens but are also realistic in knowing you can make 1 hour once or twice a week work. I also love that music is blaring and the coaches talk to you while working out. Makes 30 minutes on the treadmill feel much shorter.
My first time there was Wednesday and I am still so sore.

I liked the instructor's energy and guidance.
I did the 3G class and I liked the variety of three different exercises. Each 14 minute interval made it easy to stay focused and push myself rather than 45-60 minutes of one straight exercise.

Normal Gyms I feel like I didn’t really know what to do for a work out. I like having a trainer having somebody coach you through and push you to do the best that you can I love the environment everybody is so happy every day actually enjoy working out now and can definitely see the results and I cannot wait to see what the next year brings for me I tell everybody all the time, orange theory is where I go to work out and they should try it because your first time is free

I like that it is a full body workout. There always seems to be a new muscle that is sore for the next day or two. I've enjoyed going to a workout classes but often felt lost when it came to working out on my own in the fitness center. OrangeTheory fits both. It is instructor-led but it equips you with knowledge to lift or train on your own as needed. The instructors are also very knowledgeable about each move and kindly show you modifications or adjustments.
I like the coaches ... all are very professional, helpful, and focused on delivering the best environment for the class to excel in their personal workout goals. Correspondingly, I like the individual focused workout and the energy of being in a group. I like that the workout routines are planned in advance. Never having to figure out my own workout plan means I only have to figure out my personal goals. Finally, in my opinion, OTO is a no judgement zone. No one is concerned about what I'm doing, and with everyone working so hard around me, I can keep on going.

I especially like the HIIT focus and low-impact treadmills. As a military reservist, Orange Theory workouts are excellent for keeping my general fitness and running speed/endurance at the level that I need to be successful.
The major drawback of OT is the lesser focus on major muscle strength. My favorite OT floor workouts have been those that prioritized DB bench press, shoulder press, bicep curls, goblet squats, etc. over calisthenics or power-focused resistance exercises like thrusters. I would like to see more conventional lifting incorporated into the circuits, and would like to see (though I realize that this may not be feasible) trap-bar deadlifts incorporated as well.
