Horrible. This was my first and last time. Terrible. Massage was poor, i was charged for one hour and received 45 minutes as well. Absolutely terrible.
Our massage appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes which includes time for a beginning consultation, undressing, redressing and checking out. We allot 10 minutes for those things to occur leaving 50 minutes of hands on therapy. I will let the therapist you saw know to watch the clock better. Thank you for letting me know.

Jess was great. She listened and was very attentive to my problem areas. She checked in about pressure but otherwise kept the room calm and quiet. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone needing a quality massage.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have facials with Jessica who is amazing. Friendly, professional, punctual. I always feel very welcomed when I go to La Vida. I highly recommend the Hickory Flat location!

Well let me start by saying, my massage therapist was very good and the receptionist was very nice.
My complaint has more to do with policy. I had a 60 minute massage...however, my massage therapist came and got me after my appointment time, then spent about 10 minutes going over what she intended to do, and then stepped out for me to get dressed. Considering that I was there 15 minutes early, it would have been nice if all of this had happened prior to my appointment time, because we were definitely finished at the top of the hour, exactly an hour after my appointment time. This means that my massage was only about 40-45 minutes total, not the full 60 minutes I paid for, which I think is VERY misleading. I was not pleased with this, and had no intentions of coming back because of this. It's unfortunate because the quality of the massage was good.

Our 60 minute massage appointments are 50 minutes hands on and 5 minutes prior and after are for dress, undress, and consultation. Each therapist uses a timer and sets it for 50 minutes at the start of your service to ensure you receive the full amount of time. If you were paying attention to your appointment start time that may have been why you felt that your session was shorted. We appreciate your business and hope you will give us another try. Up to now (say last 5-6 massages), I’ve been happy with my massages. The last one, 1/30, was very disappointing. It started strong but ended incomplete and not very strong.

Friendly and wonderful technique
I have a very good person every month. My massage is comfortable and the place is clean.
LaVida Massage never disappoints. Their prices are good and their therapists are phenomenal. I recently saw Freddie and I was falling in and out of sleep the entire appt - I was SO relaxed. I love how friendly the front desk is and how clean the spa is. :)
