This math program helps my daughter practice and strengthen her understanding of concepts she may not have fully grasped in class. It also builds her confidence, especially when she is taking tests, by giving her more practice and a clearer understanding of the material.
My youngest loves it and looks forward to going. My older son is less enthusiastic, but it's definitely improved his math performance
This past year with Mathnasium has been extraordinary. Our daughter has become so much more comfortable with her math skills and Pre-Calc was manageable and enjoyable, now that’s saying something. We have had a wonderful experience with Mathnasium. In just six months, I have seen a remarkable improvement in my third grader’s math performance, going from earning C’s to consistently earning A’s in school. Even more important than the grades, he is now much more confident in his math abilities. The instructors have been patient, encouraging, and effective at helping him build a strong foundation while closing learning gaps. We also greatly appreciate the flexibility of the online sessions, especially during summer break, which allows him to stay on track regardless of our schedule. Seeing his confidence, interest in math, and academic performance improve so significantly has been incredibly rewarding, and I highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent looking to help their child succeed in math.
It has been a bit difficult for Gaby to get used to the Mathnasium routine at the beginning and I was worried we will not be able to continue but, little by little, people at Mathnasium helped him to settle down and now I don t have more “tantrums” at home before attending a session!
I cannot say enough about Keegan and Norah at the Centreville, Va. Mathnasium. Their willingness to help, advise and plan for my 16 year old son's lessons are amazing. They show maturity, beyond their years, working so well with me (the client's parent), empathizing and showing compassion and concern when discussing worries. My son was a bit leery starting the process. Especially as he was the only high schooler present many times at his appointment time. He quickly converted to liking the dedicated time and having someone to review his questions with immediately while he was working on homework and reviewing for exams. We started with less than a month left in the semester. Next time I would start sooner and feel it was worth the time and money.
We’ve had a really positive experience with Mathnasium for my son, who is currently a junior in high school. He had been struggling with math for some time, largely because the concepts weren’t being explained clearly in the classroom. Like many students, he started to lose confidence as the gaps in understanding grew.
What stood out immediately with Mathnasium was their thorough assessment process. They didn’t just jump into tutoring—they took the time to identify exactly where the gaps were, even going back to foundational concepts that had been missed along the way. That insight was incredibly valuable.
From there, they built a structured, personalized plan focused on strengthening those fundamentals. Instead of just helping him get through current assignments, they worked on rebuilding a solid foundation so he can better handle higher-level math moving forward. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement not just in his skills, but also in his confidence.
I would highly recommend Mathnasium to any student who needs support in math, regardless of age or level. Their approach is thoughtful, targeted, and truly focused on long-term success—not just short-term fixes.

Staff have been very helpful as there have been issues moving from 8 monthly sessions to 12 and the extra sessions had to be booked manually.
