Before starting Mathnasium, my kids were average students at best when it comes to math but within a couple months, with just once a week tutoring, my kids where trending to be above 90th percentile in proficiency. They love coming to your site for tutoring, it’s like a special weekly treat for them and it’s because your staff has created a culture and environment where learning math is fun. Your facility is very lively and vibrant. The staff is friendly, patient and so personable. My kids want to go to Mathnasium because they want to see their tutors. I appreciate that your tutors have a consistent and set schedule where they get to see familiar faces that creates a comfortable environment for learning.

We have sent both of our children to Mathnasium NW for very different reasons. One was struggling after falling behind during COVID and one to help bridge the gap as they jumped from 5th grade to 7th grade math. We have a great experience with Mathnasium Lakeshore! Our daughter’s math abilities and skills have improved dramatically! All the staff is very kind and accommodating.
Most importantly, the kids really enjoy their math sessions at the South Charlotte location. They're very motivated with the prize incentives, which is fine by us. What we really appreciate is that our kids have become more and more confident with their math skills. I also appreciate the ease of scheduling and re-scheduling, when needed.

Our homeschooled 15yr old son has struggled with pre algebra and algebra. The one on one attention is exactly what he needs. He gets to go at his pace which is not always consistent depending on the concept. Thank you for this service. He's confident in Math.

Mathnasium has been a great way for both of my daughters to extend their learning outside of school. For one of them it has been a great way to close some gaps she had, while for the other it has helped challenge her beyond what she is learning at school. But most importantly, they both love going to the center!

When my son took the assessment in July 2026 after a challenging year with 7th grade math, my son's confidence was very low.
The end of September, he took a 7th grade math review test and passed with an A- not using a calculator or notes. The ability for my son to take his homework to mathnasium after school to work with a tutor is very helpful. Mr. Fears is very patient and excellent at communicating with everyone. It is wonderful to see my son have support and a good team to ask questions to while I am working during the week.

My daughter hates math, but she asked to try Mathnasium because her friend who gets great math scores is enrolled. She enjoys going and the instructors make her feel great after each session!

School is not my little boy‘s favorite thing so I worried about him dreading coming there, but he absolutely loves it and never has complained about going or not wanting to go. It’s made a difference in his math skills. I see improvement every day very blessed to have found this place.

My son first started to use Mathnasium as a homeschooler. It has been so much more than math tutoring. He has connected with several instructors over mountain biking, climbing, wildland firefighting, etc. It's great to have mentors while getting instruction. He early releases from his middle school and attends Mathnasium 2-3 times per week in lieu of middle school math.
I can't believe how much confidence both of my boys have now in math class. They are excited to go to Mathnasium and love all of the tutors there. Everyone is super friendly when we walk in.
