I thought that the staff at Zerorez was very easy to work with. The technicians were thorough and even offered us an addtional service at no charge because of the challenges we faced leading up to the actual appointment. Connor in particular was great. The only two issues/comments I have regarding our experience were:
1. We needed to have asbestos abated before service could happen. There was confusion on what specifically needed to be abated because the technician shared the details with my wife, who shared them with me, and I shared it later with Vadim. Unfortunately, part of this information was lost in this game of telephone. My understanding is that referrals to Vadim happen on a frequent basis. In order to make the process as smooth as possible, perhaps Zerorez could create a simple form that they complete indicate where specifically everything needs to be abated (uploading photos too if needed) and then the customer gives that form to Vadim? That way it reduces the chances of the incorrect information going to Vadim.
2. We were given the choice of either having the vents removed or have the cleaner go through the vents. I originally, and naively, thought that the difference in the cleaning would be significant if the vents were removed. However, we realized that several vents were not secured to the wall properly and damaged the wall when they were returned. It would have been nice to know that, in Zerorez's professional opinion, the cleaning was pretty comparable when keeping the vents on as opposed to taking them off (and damaging the wall).
This is the second time that zerorez has cleaned my carpeting. I was pleased both times with the outcome. The technician, Anthony, was knowledgeable about carpeting and upholstery. Special attention was payed to the areas that I pointed out. I couldn't be happier.
