Jolie's HPF by Candlelight was amazing! She really understands how the body moves and gave excellent alignment cues. The essential oil spray at the end of class was a nice touch base as well. I am from out if town, but will definitely come back to the Del Mar studio next time I am in the area.

Enthusiastic and attentive/observatory instructors; specifically Laura Mo at the Del Mar location. Participatory leaders regarding form assistance and movement modeling. I appreciate how every class is started with a thought to distract for personal mental busyness. The reception area and attendants are also a pleasure.

Although, my observations are a bit limited since I just moved back to the area. I was just testing out locations on a 7-day guest pass, but unfortunately I have to travel so I've only been able to do a few classes ... any chance on extending the pass ;)

Earlier today 2/28 I took Jill's sculpt class at 9AM. While I've taken this class many times and have always had an amazing experience in anyone's class at Corepower, today was not very enjoyable.

I was practicing next to someone who teaches at Corepower Del Mar (Lex) and was completely appalled by her behavior.

From the start of class when everyone began in childs pose she was constantly checking her phone, which was extremely distracting. I was under the assumption that there is a no phone inside the studio policy so I'm confused why an instructor of all people would be influencing this behavior. Very rarely was she doing any of the exercises that were instructed- it almost felt as though she was in her own separate world doing her own personal class which again was extremely distracting. Lastly, not only did she leave about 10-12 minutes early she left ALL of her weights scattered... which I felt was extremely rude, disrespectful and again distracted me to enjoy the ending of class.

I truly have never had a bad experience until now and I've been practicing at Corepower for about 3 years. This really bothered me and has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Amazing staff and instructors and creative sessions!

The only quibble is sometimes the music in sculpt is too loud and it makes it harder to hear the instructor for people not as familiar with the flow.

The studio is clean and well maintained. The instructors are well trained. It’s a friendly, happy place.

I love the variety of yoga classes to choose from, as well as the energy and personal reflection opportunities the instructors provide.
