I have had excellent experiences at cpy grand avenue ever since I started doing yoga 5 years ago. The staff are friendly and inviting. Classes appropriately balance relaxation with rejuvenation. The facility is generally well-maintained.

The instructors are what make grand Ave core power such a great studio. Kate C is a fantastic yogi and her classes are constantly being changed, the subject matter she addresses during her classes always has substance and feels like she really cares about what she is saying.

Great instructor

You have a number of excellent teachers. I knew that when I lived in the Twin Cities and practiced at both St Paul Grand Ave and NE studios. Billy who teaches on Wed and Sat at St Paul Grand Ave. is the BEST yoga teacher out there, period. I just had a class with Billy on 11/25/15. I'm now living in Sebastopol CA where there are 5 different yoga studios, but no teachers that compare. Billy teaches the poses. Billy knows how to do and teach the poses safely. Billy has a great attitude and philosophy. I come back to Minnesota every 2 months, so purchased a 10 pack when I cancelled my black tag membership so I can come to yoga classes at Corepower when I fly into the state.

The other thing I love about Corepower is that each studio has changing rooms with showers. Now that is something that corporate should hold up as a selling point. Very rare in the rest of the yoga world.

What I have never appreciated about Corepower is that management pushes their teachers to sell...product, gift card, memberships, teacher training, etc. That is okay at the front desk, but NOT inside the yoga studio. I don't like that at all. And I realize this is something the teachers must be told they have to do by management most likely from the top.

The teachers should not be rated on how much they "sell" for the corporation. The teachers main job is to teach, encourage, and help motivate students. That is really the only negative thing I have to say about Corepower. Please pass this onto the corporate powers that be.

The instructors are awesome.

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. Tim was very knowledgable throughout the hour long class. He led everyone thru a nice hour long vinyasa style class. I also found the merchandise to be very well laid out and organized. Very nice experience!

I love the 1 and 1.5 classes, and wish there were more of them. The others are good too, but just too hot for me. The instructors are nice and I appreciate that they emphasize that everyone can go at their own speed, and take the exercises to the level they're comfortable with, and thus eliminate unnecessary pressure. I've recommended the studio to various friends and the most enthusiastic one of them has been my daughter, Nadja.
