Celeste is a great instructor and she delivered a safe and yet challenging class

Overall very happy customer user. go several times a week. but since you asked here are my complaints

#1 - Lack of variety in routines. It's very common that a certain class and time works for someone. for example, tuesday night sculpt at 530. But, it's very annoying when you go to that class weekly and the same instructor does the exact routine 8 weeks in a row. I literally had to change my schedule and avoid that class because I couldn't bear the thought of doing the exact same routine again. This was stephanie, who I like a lot. but she was not mixing up her routine at all.

my recommendation would be to mix it up every week. I know it's a lot of work to do completely different routines every time, but at least change out some segments so even though some of the segments are the same, there are different segments each time to give it more variety.

#2 - this doesn't happen often and when it does it's usually in sculpt, but when the music is too loud to hear the instructor. Instructors, we all love loud music, but not at the expense of struggling to hear what you are saying... so make sure you aren't drowned out by the music, please :)

Studio is clean, staff is friendly, classes are challenging when you want them to be.... But, most importantly, it feels like a community.

The schedule, if I have 2 or 3 hours there is probably a class I can take.
There are enough instructors that I can find a good instructor often and avoid the instructors that are not so good.
With C1 I can work on my asanas; c2 I can work on my endurance. Both complement each other.

Love everything about the CorePower. Very knowledgeable and motivated trainers and great customer service from the staff.

Jennifer’s C2 class was challenging. I really enjoyed her playlist and flow. I especially appreciated that she offered adjustments to help students better their practice. She even had cooling towels to put over our eyes while in Shavasana which totally made my C2 experience so much more better. It is these little touches that sets Almaden classes apart from other studios. I look forward to taking more classes at Almaden Core Power Yoga.

The facilities are clean, the class sizes are just right - not crowded and allows each student a comfortable space. The teachers are consistently effective and nice.

a lot of classes and time availability

It’s funny- the first time I came to a class, (it happened to be a yoga sculpt class), I left after the class was over and thought “it’s not for me. The music was too loud, the room was too hot and I couldn’t hear the instructor’s cues.” It wasn’t anything like the yoga classes I had taken in the past. I was ravenous, I went home craving healthy food, had a good lunch and went about my day. As I climbed into bed that night, I realized how much energy I had had throughout the entire day. It was the class! I came back and signed up for my free week to try out different classes. And I now try to make it in 2 times a week. I’ve gotten used to the hot room and the loud music and always look forward to how great I’m going to feel for the entire day after I’ve taken a class! Every CorePower instructor I’ve ever taken has been great!
