Sculpt and Ryder
I have just two complaints.
1) Remind people that once they enter the studio they should be quie (C1, C2 and hot classes); too often, I enter the room earlier to relax/reflect before the start of class, but the constant chatter/laughter prevents me from getting entirely into my zone.
2) Allow more time between the end of one class and the cleaning of the room for the next. I always feel rushed gathering my things and getting out of the room so that the cleaners can clean it for the next session.
I'm a runner, cyclist, walker and former aerobics teacher, so I like the fitness-focused, Western style of yoga. I'm 59 and choose teachers carefully. Some of the newbies pay no attention to form or alignment. I like Drew, Ken, Jen P, Dylan, Kathy B at Highland and Kim, Erin and especially Billy at Grand.
Consistency. Number and variety of classes. Friendliness of staff. The facilities.
Lockers with locks would be great!

Sculpt, heat, hot fusion
Variety of times classes are offered.
The instructors are well-trained, experienced, and sensitive to the needs of the group. For each class, they introduce themselves, ask about people's specific needs, and tailor the workout to the class size and student requests. Yogis and challenged and supported in listening to our bodies and backing off when necessary.
Both yoga studios are kept uncluttered, and cleaned thoroughly after each class. The overall space is clean, well-stocked and yet uncluttered. The locker and shower areas are well maintained with all the comfort items you'd want to use!
Best of all the dedicated students recognize one another and this practice becomes a community. Even when the studio is crowded with eager yogis, there is respect: each person is there to practice, to become more present to their moment-to-moment experience, and to take that learning out into the larger world.
Atmosphere and encouragement to live healthy and be kind!
I love the classes and yoga instructors. Their messages during the class are wonderful, and I always take something more away from the class than just exercise. The only reason I'm not giving CorePower a 10 is because sometimes the classes run over the 1 hour class session, and I wish the instructors would respect our time as well. Thank you!
